Again. This phone is so bad I was happy when the microphone in mine stopped working. It will be replaced. My son frequently borrows my phone so he can call for free. Even he no longer wants to use the phone despite the free usage. It is a terrible device. If you buy one you will be disappointed!

Only one big question...
Why no WLAN?????????????????????????????
It's very big mistake, which definitely will stop many people from buying this model.
You are very right my dear, I had purchased one htc dual before two days only, and now I will sale it and go back to my old one ( htc touch ) only because of NO WLAN, I don’t know what is the idea of removing WLAN from this mobile, really it is very big, big, big mistake, I feel sorry.

since i don use GPS and Wifi at all, I sold my HTC 3600 and change to touch dual, because I prefer with keypad.
Has used it for a week, so far no problem, the response is abt the same with 3600, just slightly faster, not obviously.
The only cons with this phone is, the touch screen is not sensitive enough, sometimes u need to touch hardly or touch few times then it works. I shall change the screen protector and try out again.

RE: Annette (WiFi and HSDPA)
HSDPA = High Speed Downlink Packet Access, is a protocol for mobile telephone data transmission also known as a 3.5G, it runs through your mobile phone network meaning user will inccur charges for usage.
WiFi = Wireless Fidelity, is the popular term for a high-frequency wireless local area network (WLAN) technology, meaning tapping into the internet via a wireless network whether it be work or home. Since you are utilizing an existing network, so it would be free.
hope this answer your questions :)
p.s. I can relate to mika, coz i use to have and O2 Atome Life and I have used the WiFi for less than 10 times over the 6mth period i've had it.

why people keep harping on about wifi... if you were in the countryside or camp site which one are you more likely to have in your vicinity wifi or hspda
secondly wifi is not up to scratch when your talking security and it's pots luck you will find access points with no security travelling on the bus.
isn't it more likely that more devices in the future will have bluetooth rather than wifi so you could always network your devices using bluetooh and use the hspda as your access point
I got this phone yesterday and the only thing that would of been nice to have, although a luxury is the gps,had the mda compact 3 last year and only used gps 5 to 8 times.
the only drawback about this handset is the pouch provided

Great phone. It takes more than a week to become friends with this apparaat and WM6 but then you have a real friend. Minor points: no wifi, gps and qwerty keyboard. Who needs wifi when there is HSDPA and a BT GPS unit I already had.The loss of the keyboard takes longer to life with (my former phone is a HTC9100).

the keyboard is 20 key if you come from using a normal phone it will take some time to getting used to. this is a very powerfull pocket PC and i am very happy with the design and functionality. it should'nt be a problem when against your head during calls.

I have had this phone since Desember, it is annoying. The slide-out keyboard is impossible to read and unusable for texting. The touch screen remains active during calls and therefore I end up starting lots of programs by just pressing it against my face while talking. The mini-USB connector is on the lower left hand side making the phone nearly unusable while charging. The 2MP camera is the worst one I have ever used (and I have had many phones).
There are just too many little things that bother me to no end with this phone. All sorts of annoyance with the UI and its functionality. There is a selection of on-screen keyboards and bandwriting recognition tools. The best keyboard I have is called PDAMedia KBD. I found it on the net and installed myself. I am so frustrated that I have stopped using the phone and reverted to my SE P990. Be warned.
