Can someone help me with .Net Compact framework? Most applications I install says that I need to install a higher version of .NETCF but when I try to install 2.0, which is the most common one, the isntallation says that I already have a higher version and then it ends installation. How do I solve this? I really want to use the advanced programs but installing .NETCF is a pain in the ass.
i used this tonite at telstra store
i found it great
but my uncle didnt like it && he also has the iphoone so everything is sh!t compared to the iphone
Oh also download EMOZE it allows you to access push email on your phone although i would strongly advise that you tell it to block images and limit its size to 2000 characters... otherwise yet again you will probably hit your download allowance.
Wait you guys are telling me that you thought all updates are free when your phone downloads them LOL!
Any Non-wifi/ activesync internet activity on the phone is charged... and if your not careful you can easily out do what you network allows in there download bolt-ons. I would be very careful..... Larger file downloads only access when using wifi otherwise smaller files may be downloaded using 3G or EDGE i strongly recomend that you check with your provider as to your allowance. I have 200mb fair useage and ive so far never gone over...
Does the HTC Touch HD really feel that big and uncomfortable in hand? how does it feel compared to the nokia e71? and is touch screen typing really more difficult than hardware keyboard typing like in the nokia e71? please reply experts, fast!!! thanks in advance!

Have had the HTC HD for a week now and WOW what a great phone. Full QWERTY takes some getting used to since the letters are small. Sound is great with Sony ear buds but the volume level could be higher, Easy set up for cell connection, Bluetooth, wifi , data and a breeze to load documents and music. BTW you can lock the phone by holding the end phone button.

Wayne V, 25 Mar 2009What is the general opinion of the on screen keyboard? I am thinking of getting one but have ... moreThe touch screen is the best I have used to date, with one caveat. You need to take care when it is in your pocket. If a text comes in the screen becomes live and in my experience the phone then makes calls without your knowledge.
r2d2, 25 Mar 2009the ringtones? is there anyway of useing your own music as a ringtone messagetone? xR2D2 I'll take it that you already know how to change sound notifications files with ones that show up in the list, and you just want to know how to get your files in that list as well... all you have to do is save the audio files in (.wav) format and put it in the memory card in the main area (not in a sub folder) and it will show up in the list... if you don't even know what list I'm talking about let me know.
Does anyone know how the conection to the server is made to update infos on the standard programs, such as the welcome screen with all the wheather forecast and so? I wonder if it'll charge your bill or if it will connect to some HTC server free of charge.
