Claims a battery standby time of 367/406. When I asked HTC how to get that, I was told to switch off all comms, switch off 3G, set screen to lowest graphics, switch off TouchFLO 3D... and wait for it....remove your SIM card so that it does not search for networks, then you will get around 300hours standby. It's the most expensive desk paper weight I have.

The AT&T Fuze keyboard takes away the very convenient number row to replace it with symbols. They put the numbers back to the "stardard" way on top of the letters on the right side of the keyboard.

I have recently bought this phone from UAE.
I am sure this phone was meant to simplify life by the Windows OS, However, the Menu seems to be difficult to maneuver. The phone heats up after talking for only a couple of minutes and the Battery does not last me even half a day not having used blue tooth, wifi, having made sure all applications are closed when no longer in use. I wonder, if the HTC company meant to give, users of this phone, this kind of service or could there be some manufacturing fault. I have looked at a few websites to see if I could contact the responsible company/persons who could help me and managed to get to site where there were several contacts and their fax and telephone numbers but could not get thru to any fax or telephone answered. Is there someone out there who could help me? I have spent a tidy sum in acquiring this phone and am not happy unless there is something I am not doing right.

Okay phone, but the D-Pad comes broken. D-pad only works reliably up-down, but 66% of time will end up hitting the one of the other buttons while trying to hit left-right. Even Sony learned from their joystick days.
Either flip out the keyboard if you want real 4-way navigation, or switch to phone that HTC didn't mess up.

> In reply to smart user @ 2008-11-13 15:44 from 4H%BI agree with your post and many similar others, this phone is ridiculously hard to use. It's not my first windows phone but this thing is a mess. menus are difficult and unclear. You never know what to click on to get where you want, no matter what you touch, whether you're trying to zoom in on a web page or selecting a name from your contacts to text, YOU WILL CALL SOMEONE.
If I was a casual user who thrived on fancy features, I could spend the time dragging through menus to find the little morsels of graphics, but I need my phone as much for fun and excitement as I do for constant calling, messaging, and email. As far as that goes...they missed the point.

Hey guys had this phone for about a month now and it's awesome. I've done all the tweaks etc to improve TouchFlo performance, and increase speaker sound (or maybe I'm just imagining it's louder). I'm not sure if I stuffed it up in the registry or it just never worked, but I can't hear the tone when I have a call waiting. This feature is activated, turned on on my phone and there is a tone allocated to it which can I can play. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thx, jpflorez_25@hotmail.com

> In reply to arvin @ 2008-11-12 12:03 from PEHRSome menu. Clicking the network icon just shows that the speaker phone is on. No call waiting menu there, genius. But since you say 3G icon, I assume you're not using the Sprint version.
If you're smart enough to do some research, you might see that this is an issue with this device.

Well can some one explain why a smart phone like HTC pro has to be hard to use? Can some tell me why it does not support other langauges in this global time of history. I am returning the Fuze to ATT because it will not allow me to upgrade the ROM by HTC to support other languages. I think it's an ATT problem.
It's fantastic piece of equipment but I made many errors touching the screen and ending up calling somebody. or end up in a different page. I am going to try the experia X1a which will be released in USA NOv 24 and see if sony patched the language support to be more inclusive. historically they do a greay job like Blackberry and Nokia in supporing almost all languages.
