I think is the best phone in the market. It is better than the Sumsung Omnia, better than the Iphone 3. In addition it has the qwerty. Write an email without the qwerty is really a problem. As soon as it will be comercialized I will buy !

I prefer Nokia phones. But,I can say HTC is a fine brand . I think HTC phones are so nice, and so complete. And I could get one. Rally.

> In reply to [deleted post]Depends on what your needs are. If you're a heavy texter or use the internet a lot I would go with the Pro since it has a full QWERTY keyboard.
check out the reviews and do a comparison.

> In reply to Gappi @ 2008-07-27 14:31 from vGAmI have read and seen on my friends phone their is a hp stylus, for the touch diamond, this goes into a slot on the back or the side which is also magnetic, so they won't easily fall out, i can only assume this is also the case on the touch pro as this phone also has handwriting recognition.

I have recently spoken to Orange and they have 2 htc phones being released one in August and one in September both of which are not the htc touch pro. The htc website says this phone will be out on orange but obviously not so soon, O2 said that phone will not be coming out from them either, so it is just a waiting game to see who and when it gets taken on contract. Their are other websites which are saying that you can order the phone on contract from O2 and T-mobile, but am not wanting to get those tariffs.

Absolutely! Why don't finish the job, when you've already started?
Go all the way, and you'll have a fierce combatant to the Iphone!

Nice!!! but if youre going to do something big ... go all the way... The one thing you guys left out that would have made this phone revolutionary was IR (infared port) People would love to use there phones as there tv remote..!!! Huge mistake by htc. Huge!!!! Still 100 x better than the new 3g iphone. Next time htc... finish them off. complete the job. You get a A- but thats a big minus.

Speak for yourself. If I can see individual pixels I know there is something very wrong.

If it was 3.5" or at least 3.2", I would buy it.
But now I prefer Samsung i900 or even iPhone 3G.
Large display is more important than high resolution support or new Windows Mobile OS.
Hope that in next phone HTC will enlarge their display sizes

well done HTC!
it's a great phone and have everything a phone must have! and although small size too!
and windows mobile os is much better and bigger than any os (symbian, se or iphone, etc) since u can find and install any kind of apps u like (iphone lacks a lot!! :) )
well yes no user friendly but more professionalized os! none of other OSes can compete it ! and also more user friendly than before ( version 6.1) thank to htc touch flo!
the only thing that brings nokia to front is it's camera that htc never has nokia's camera quality ( come on htc do something!):)
