I had the Touch HD and it was the same issue. the 3G bands in Europe are not compatible with the ones in the US, so Edge is all u can get

does the back raelly scratch and does the paint really peel? that is a MAJOR drawback. Sigh, back to the wait of E72 then..

I personally do not want that 12 mp camera, I want a professional device and that is HTC. This is my second set after the original Pro.

HTC is good, but I can't understand why they don't make phones with camera flash.

People, choose the only one 12MP smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Satio, you won't regret it! Will be in stores in October. HTC is good, I don't sad it, but the Satio is better, has 600MHZ CPU, 12MP camera(guys if you want to take photos, choose the Satio), Symbian(Symbian is the best OS yet), so be clever!!!

But, interface is not everything, professional life is based on windows, and HTC is very compatible with windows, and office application.

WM has a great power and excellent functions, if you are looking for a device that can be for business and entertainment at the same time, HTC is for you. You will not get the same level as iphone interface and gaming ability, but it is more than enough for me.

I never had an iphone, but I see with my friends. I like the professional look and the power of HTC.

I also had the original pro, but the new one is completely different, the interface is excellent and the speed is amazing compared to the original one. Virtual and slideout keyboard are so easy to use.

Resolution is excellent and much better indoors than the iphone, but outdoors iphone is better than HTC.

hey guys, i was just comparing this phone with iPhone 3G. i'd like to hear different opinions... can you please tell me which is better? i have an iPhone 3G now but i was considering changing to this appealing phone. :D hope you can help!

I need help with my HTC Touch Pro 2. When it starts up, there is red lettering on the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Is that normal?

I already got the pro2, it is very good device much better than the original pro. I have both of them. It is already faster. If you are a kind of person who wants something for more business, take the pro2, otherwise diamond 2 is enough. Pro2 is looking far better and elegant than the diamond2, you can go and see both of them, there is a lot of difference. Even pro2 is heavier, I did not notice that may be because I had the original pro.

Finally I like the set and the power of it.

This will be available in the Philippines starting July 6 to 10. I was able to avail of the unit though in advance thru the HTC trade show at Glorietta activity Center. SRP is 49,990.

Other than that. there isn't much diff.
