I have bought 3 of these phones, I make between 150 to 200 business calls everyday on one handset, and almost as many on my second handset which is also a touch pro2. This phone does the most important thing really well work for someone making phone calls - it works as the best speaker phone I have ever had. It is louder and clearer and noise cancelling: All perfect, and can conference well with its phone books (eg. you can call two people at once on the one phone). The two phones can be used to conference together without noise problems when making two calls at the same time while conferencing in customers standing next to you (I do this because I am often waiting 20 minutes on hold so I need to call others on a second phone - you can't have a conference conversation over hold music on the other line - it needs to be on a different phone). It also has great signal reception in marginal areas.
The keyboard was invaluable as I work on the street with grease and dirt and cannot use fingertips to use the phone. The touch screen is perfect - I love resistive not capacitive screens as I can use my fingernails with it. Capacitive screens do not work well with me even on a clean day as my fingertips either have thick skin or are too dry or something.
In short this was the best phone I have ever had. I really hope they make the upcoming 'HTC Vigor' with a keyboard to replace this phone.
It is so loud I have never needed a handsfree car kit in a noisy diesel van.
HTC please keep making phones like this.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-08-19 03:25 from qP%W - click to readOk , we all understood you hate the phone because it isn't an iPhone. Like I said - please learn how to use it and after that comment. I know it freezes sometimes 9and NOT because of the phone , most likely of the soft used) but if you know how to touch it the answer is very fast. That means for me that you don't know how to use it.

This is an absolutely HORRIBLE phone. It's glitchy, the OS is horrible and it takes forever to react to touch, it freezes all the time and sometimes just shuts down for no reason at all. I've sent mine back twice and it's always just as horrible. save yourself the trouble and DO NOT buy this phone

many gys are saying they're experiencing freezing problems. I think it's partially true . In my case the touch is partialy blocked sometimes due to bad wi-fi signal, software bugs and , not in the last, due to multiple touching commends. Try to have patience from the start , use good or excellent signal and try to master (know and understand) the manual's data and the software used. Think that the phone has a lot of utilities and specifications and each movement of your hand is interpreted as quick as possible. Think at it like a hurried and pressed from the back human.

I just bought a SH one with 110 USD , turned conectivity plane off and all the rest on (wi-fi,wi-router,blutooth and so on). I was playing with it also about 45 mins .My battery was alive for almost 5 hours. It is good or bad? I must think at a battery replacement? The phone had ~75 talked hours but I think it doesn't matter being also a powerhouse pocket PC.

This phone is such a worthless piece of junk that I finally snapped and smashed it to pieces with a hammer. I then packaged it nicely with all cables and user manuals in its original box and sent it back to HTC. It's now even worthy of my garbage can. Total piece of junk. I now have the Samsung Galaxy S2 and it blows any other phone out of the water. So long HTC. You should've stayed away from Windows Mobile.

what i can say is that its a great heavy phone and i love the gps. the only problem with my htc is that i was constantly buying and replacing micro sd cards because it kept on corrupting them beside that cant complain

No, it's not upgradable to wm6.5, not on my phone...
If you are planing to upgrade to wm6.5 then don't buy this phone.

This is a beautifully working phone. ive had mine for 2 mos, and havnt had any significant problems (only problems ive had where app 3rd party app related). this phone has features and the large key size on the slide out makes it perfect for moble gaming. this phone is also easily dual bootable with android and works with android almost flawlessly. (android port still under construction... i believe the bluetooth does not work on the port yet.)
