wich one is the best..
this device or samsung omnia pro?
As mentioned earlier in an another thread, the version of the TP2 that Telus will be receiving will included a 3.5mm headphones jack, which is craze news.
Nothing had been said about the US version, but it now seems that the devices to be sold trough carriers in the states will also get the version with the standard jack. That's some crazy great news, and in my opinion is ample justification for having the TP2 released in North America a few months later than it was in Europe. Woot!

Having a TYTN myself and having tested an PRO2, I have to say the evolution hasn't been significant.
I'm afrais much more was to be expected in terms of specs and connectivity (no 3.5 jack, no wifi N, no radio out of the box, no camera flah, now! etc.)
If I were to buy a new phone, of course I would consider the PRO2, but I believe there is NO NEED whatsoever to change.
It just isn't worth it.
My TYTN is working with an 8Gb card (which is quite enough)and I'm convinced only marketing strategies and peer pressure lead people into buying new phones WHEN they already have perfectly suitable models.
Mobile phones must take a giant leap as far as PRICE, Compability and Specifications are concerned.
Otherwise, we'll just be making rich companies even richer for no good reason!

T-Mobile USA just announced yesterday that they will be making the HTC Touch Pro 2 availalbe from August 12th onwards. This handset is more than ready to take over where the HTC Touch Pro left off, and the US release comes quite late long after the handset was made available to folks living across the Atlantic as well as in Asia.

I have disabled the threaded sms feature. i think, with threaded sms, it will not show you the number of characters.
once disabled, htc tp2 shows you the number of characters as you type sms.
it supports sms delivery report but this feature is network dependent.

you may want to visit the site below.
www.clintonfitch.com/reviews/clinton/tweakingtouch-pt1/default.asp
as a safe practice, before trying anything suggested on that site, please back up ur data. in case something goes wrong, you can always hard reset ur phone and restore from back-up.
I wonder - should I buy that phone or not? I will use it a lot for sms.
So - I need a function telling me how many characters left when I for instance wants to write a maximum 160 characters message.
And I need a function telling me if/when the sms is received by the recipient or not.
Do I find these features in Touch Pro2?

will you be able to describe that telstra stuff you want removed? is it a separate tab in the tf3d menu?

please tell me how to do this as this is my first htc touchflo handset and i love it but dont want to use it like this.
Found a brilliant anti-glare screen protector. Go to mobilefun.co.uk and look for TP2 accessories. I picked up the MFX Anti-Glare Screen Protector (code MXPSPG).
Nimal, 26 Jul 2009Hi ,i would like to knw how much this HTC touch pro 2 ,in ur country>???USD?600eur - in Romania
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970It's yet to be known. However, people, such as myself, have been following phone blogs that update everytime new information is known about this phone. I recommend checking out Tmonews. They are usually the first ones to update about T-mobile. However, there are talks that this phone could be released for $250-$300 on 2-year contract.
