> In reply to Tamer @ 2010-09-13 12:45 from mn3f - click to readA Hard Reset will delete ALL your personal data from your phone.

You'll lose, programmes, pictures and videos, games and addresses, software updates... you name it.

After a successful hard reset, your phone will be exactly as it was the day you bought it!

You'll find instructions on how to do it on your phone's manual, but I'd advise you to try another battery, make sure your phone is completeley dry, I don't know...
I just think a hard reset IS a drastic last option.

Have you verified all possible causes for the problem?

A Hard Reset is not a miracle cure, i.e., if there is a processor or memory fault/problem a HR will NOT solve your problem.

Try to have it checked by a trusted technician.

Good Luck with it!

Today I had a problem in my TyTN where it hanged up. Normally I make a soft reset using the stylus. But in this time the phone did not start at all, it just displays some information in the beginning and stops with HTC logo on the screen. I have tried to reset again and removed the battery many times, but with no progress. One of my friends told me that i need to do a hard reset but I do not know how. Can anyone of you guide me to solve this issue?
Thanks

> In reply to vine @ 2010-08-16 09:42 from frV9 - click to readI'd advise you to contact the seller as your phone is faulty.

My phone has used a 4GB card and now it has an 8GB card inside and it has "recognised" them immediately.

I've taken photos and made videos, I've installed and removed GPS Programmes, Games, Movies and Applications and I eventually realised I needed a larger capacity card.

I've never had any problem with either of these two cards.

I'm not sure about its maximum capacity, but I may assure you an "operational" HTC TYTN accepts up to 8GB cards: Just insert it and start using it.

You'd better get that phone checked as that is a definite sign there's something wrong with the phone (or with the memory cards, of course).

To a phone such as the TYTN 256MB is NOT enough to enjoy the phone's full potential!

Good Luck with that!

> In reply to ozzy @ 2010-08-13 09:12 from Ge@H - click to readThat depends on your operator's settings.

You'll really have to contact them.

Each operator has its specific settings which sometimes may even be sent by them "automatically" via sms. (You'll just have to install them)

Some Official site (vodafone, Orange, etc.) have even their definitions which you may install set yourself.

Good Luck with your phone.

Great multipurpose phone!

A bit bulky, but it's got it all!
Really stands the test of time. You may give it a tough use and it will NOT let you down.
No screen scratches - as the screen is a bit lowered/protected - from the phone's edges. Video call, bluetooth connection, infra red, wifi... you name it! And you even get all sorts of updates, new cooked roms and tweaks from xda-developers!
Best value for money phone I know.

BTW: How come it isn't on the top chart?
