Anonymous, 27 Aug 2009can anybody tell me the anti virus that works with htc tytn II and how i can get it? cheersI have been using McAfee Antivirus for some time now and it works perfecly with TyTN2.It is a free software which you can download at www.softpedia.com. All the best!
Great phone, lot of options and cool features. I have loaded WM 6.1 ROM on it but its very slow and thats the only regret, sometimes it takes about 6-8 seconds before u could open any application.
One more thing, when i bought it, the keyboard was working fine, but after about a year of use the keys have hardened a little bit, takes couple of repeated keypresses. Thats frustrating when ur in a hurry to text someone.
Otherwise its great. Im now planning to buy a HTC touch Pro 2 next.
I've been using HTC TyTNII for 2 years. After the first year, it suddenly lost all the data in it. I had to start afresh. Yesterday It lost network and refused to be restored. I rebooted it severally. Even removed battery, memory and SIM card to see if it can be restored after rebooting. Currently, I've transferred my SIM to another phone and its receiving network. Anyone with a solution with this kind of problem should please reach out to me. I love my HTC TyTN II phone.
can anybody tell me the anti virus that works with htc tytn II and how i can get it? cheers
I bought this phone when it first came out. It's nice but I now realized it's kind of bulky.
Anyone who wants to use GPS software on it, you should look into Iguidance. I have been using it for a number of years now (on various PDAs). Garmin, Tom Tom etc don't even come close to it. It's really easy to install on your PC/Laptop and on your on PDA.
Anonymous, 19 Aug 2009Hay can anyone tell me if this phone is good for mxit and suitable for a teenager? Is good more than that. Not recomend for teenager.it may expose lot more than his or her age, unless you are in control of every activity.remember it is a pocket pc.
Anonymous, 19 Aug 2009Hay can anyone tell me if this phone is good for mxit and suitable for a teenager?depending waht you normally use your phone for besides sms and call. This phone has ;
1.0 GPS which you can use to navigate if you instal the software like garmin.
2.0 Instal divx player and you can view videos in .avi
Media player is pre installed
3.0 It has voice recorder for you to record voices
4.0 It has 3.1mp camera
5.0 It has microSD slot up to 32gigabytes to put your songs or videos
6.0 It has wifi connectivity
7.0 It has all the office compatibility
It can download softwares and do interesting things.
The only negative element i can see is only the size. It is a bit bulky considering it being more of a small pc and not just a handphone.
