can some1 who is familiar with this fone advise whether TouchFlo and opera mini can be downloaded on it. some users say this phone is slow. how slow ? and compared to what?

Don't buy it - it's rubbish. The battery (and I've tried 2) lasts no more than 2 days if I only use it on standby. The Bluetooth is pathetic compared to a Sony Ericsson W810, and the audio quality is terrible. Try using "Outlook" or IE and most times the phone will simply switch off - it's happened to me over a dozen times. And get this - if you want to use the alarm function, you have to leave the phone ON!!. With the battery life being as it is, you'll find the phone's gone flat long before you need waking up. Try getting e-mail or internet to use Wi-Fi - Ha! It uses what it feels like, normally GPRS.

So, don't be fooled - steer well clear. Hype is one thing, real-world functionality is another.

Did the bottom application work for anybody (mario cart game type)? I had instillation problems.

Most people assume pocket pc's are for buisness and buisness only-wrong!I have some great multimedia apps as well as hundreds of games.I see some people are sharing so I uploaded this mariokart type game for anyone who wants it

Try turning the Mic AGC on or off.

Do a hard reset, backup all files before hand though. As with anything windows, it needs a fresh install every now and then.

Download KaiserTweak and pump up all the caches.

A good bit of advice.
Download TotalComander for Windows Mobile and from Task Manager, add it to the exclusive list :p

Heard from one of HTC dealers that HTC is coming out on a new TyTN 111 this september. Is it true? Anyone heard about it?

Windows Mobile software rocks.The 3rd party software cannot be matched by apple,linux,palm or symbian.Here try this rather cool imaging application.

A soft reset is just like a laptop/desktop computer (reset). It only restarts all applications and directory folders from default settings with nothing erasing.

If you know where to download google map for use without internet for this phone, please let me know

I've had this phone for 6 months. The following are issues that I've experienced with it:

- Callers cannot always hear me due to my voice dropping in & out during calls
- Battery cover keeps on coming off
- Unit has started freezing often lately
- Touch screen incredibly unresponsive at times
- Battery life unbelievably short especially when one logs onto internet
- When using speaker phone callers cannot hear me clearly
- Phone automatically starts up programs i.e. Skype/Fring whilst I'm busy using another operation.
- Speed of opening applications is slower then my I-mate Jam
- Camera operation is impractical & quality of photos & videos is poor

Unfortunately these issues are frustrating me to the point of considering an alternative phone eventhough I essentially value this phone.
