also remember WMV is very resource intensive so I'd advise you lower the bitrate to around 400kbps.You might like to consider installing Coreplayer.Coreplayer is an excellent media application that plays almost all known video formats.

Windows media player isn't the best option for video playback however should you wish to view WMV via media player you need to install the WMV9 codecs.Copy the codecs into my /windows.

The response time can be improved by increasing the system cache.I strongly recommend installing kaisertweak.Set the file system cache, filter cache and the gdi/font cache to the highest value.Your device will now run far faster.PS Don't enable XT9 on messages or you won't be able to use the suggested words facility.

I've just bought it and I'm enjoying !! Sometimes the response is slow, but, probably because you have a lot of programs running simultaneously, close those we are not using and the problem is solved ! It accepts up to 16gb microSD cards and I recommend to have one with at least 8gb. The sync with Outlook is perfect, the GPS really works as good as my car gps (using Destinator on HTC). I strongly recommend this device !

as fabulous as this phone is feature-wise it is ultimately let down by poor battery life & dreadful reception during calls... kind of defeats the main function of mobile telephony. I've owned this phone for 8 months.

> In reply to Kevin @ 2008-07-02 10:08 from M@T2I can proudly say the battery last at least 6-8 hours :)
Which is 4-5 hours longer than my laptop lasts.
This is with Wi-Fi connected 24/7 and normal usage of a cellular phone.
