HTC TyTN II - user opinions and reviews

HTC

Nice review but you have to remember 3rd party applications for wm6 are far far better than the symbian equivalent. An e90 running s60 symbian is such a waste-it's almost like having a top of the range laptop and using windows 98 on it!

190 GRAMS? Are you kidding me? I have had P990i and it was like a BRICK in my pocket with only 153 Grams! No way this is a cell phone for me!

It's a superior product to the n95 no doubt about it but in the same breath it is aimed at a different market. What I find amazing is the value for money, under 500gbp for this unit is really good value especially when you consider an e90 costs more and does less.Well done HTC

Just dumped my n95 and got this monster. The differences are immense with the htc out preforming the nokia on every level apart from video.

I've used tomtom and destinator with a pocket pc,both were cracked apps so I wouldn't worry about paying for maps.http://ppcwarez.org is the place to be. :-)

This device has wm6 os so anything is possible. The amount of QUALITY 3rd party applications can't be matched by any other platform so of coarse their is applications to protect sms, make calls over internet etc etc etc.

You have to buy the map, and from what I understand it is just a one time purchase of around $10-$20 USD.

It does, in fact, have TouchFLO. And unlike preliminary specs said, it actually has the full version of TouchFLO, not just a watered down version. Coupled with the full jog wheel it has this makes this phone incredibly capable of one hand usage.
