This device has wm6 os so anything is possible. The amount of QUALITY 3rd party applications can't be matched by any other platform so of coarse their is applications to protect sms, make calls over internet etc etc etc.

You have to buy the map, and from what I understand it is just a one time purchase of around $10-$20 USD.

It does, in fact, have TouchFLO. And unlike preliminary specs said, it actually has the full version of TouchFLO, not just a watered down version. Coupled with the full jog wheel it has this makes this phone incredibly capable of one hand usage.

From the GPS chipset to the cpu, from the os to the input method their is nothing that can match this beast.A true pda not to be confused with inferior handsets like the e90 or n95.

I have to say I disagree about the TyTn II "dying". I have contacted several online retailers, both USA and UK, and they all ordered from 50-100 unit. Every one of them is on back order. I think this will be one of the biggest mobiles from years to come just like the TyTn before it.

@bigsam: GITEX is here, but not the TyTNII, so I went window shopping. Found the TyTN and even a S710 (that surprised me) at the HTC "dealer" Jumbo Elec...but the sales people didn't even know about the II and none of their sales literature had any mention of it in them. *sigh* I think this phone is going the way of the Motorola Z8...released to just a few markets and then dies.
