As for Apple they arent factor anyway, since I am only interested in Android.
xz, 19 May 2017s8 had a amoled screen lcd tft ips is battery drainer Samsung U.I. and duplicate app and features drain more power than any LCD screen can on a bad day.

O. and don't buy apple too. because they give some of their customer's intel chips and others Qualcomm chips and they know the Qualcomm works better.
Jesse Clark, 19 May 2017It doesn't mean HTC will also perform better. S8 is the smartest device in the world, you can'... moreHTC phones are always less power hungry than Samsung phones and one main reason for that is sense UI. It is much lighter than whatever Samsung is calling lag Wizz now. every tech-head knows that. so what every you getting for time on the S8 battery you going to get more on the U11

Lebron, 19 May 2017Only 3000mah for 5.5 screen? WowThe U Ultra also has a 3000mah battery with an ever bigger screen but it still performces well in battery endurance.
Egash Josh, 19 May 2017Man your reasoning is such backward! How could you say such stupid thing??! 4GB ram is just en... moreThis is year 2017 and we are talking about a flagship phone with premium price, one should expect the very best for top price! Since a year when lot cheaper phones than HTC released and had 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage.
HTC knows that they cant get away with inferior hardware in Asia so they get a proper phone, while EU as usual get the gimped version for the same price! Is it any wonder that HTC almost went bankrupt with this kind of policy before?
Now let me explain again when you pay sub 500 euro, you might make compromise on the hardware, but when a phone cost more than 700 euro you expect the very best, unfortunately HTC fails hard providing inferior hardware to EU.
Also your logic failed, you might not need 6 GB RAM but I need, this is like providing worse display to a region and saying " most of user cant make difference between displays anyway"
I wouldnt be surprised that EU version probably gathered from the worst quality parts, and probably the lacking RAM and Storage the first of the many shortcoming of HTC phone. I would never trust a discriminative company which thinks that outside of Asia customers are sheep.

Helvetica, 19 May 2017Dont try and scam us with your fragile screen+ laggy touchwiz aka grace uxYou just heard the name grace and started your crap, S8 doesn't have grace even, it comes with Samsung experience UI and its smoother than anything out there. It's named like that for the heavenly experience it provides. So better afford one, use one before spreading your crap.
Deimosphobos, 19 May 2017Lol@S8/Samsung It might have a few extra bells and whistles...but it's locked down tighter... moreHow many users root their phones? And what's the use of rooting a great phone and voiding warranty. Only 5% real consumers root their phones. Samsung phone is very customizable without rooting even, the theme store just make it irrelevant to root for custom launchers. Everything is customizable to one's taste and needs without ever needing rooted phone.

But a kinda excuse HTC 11 because HTC has offered 3.5 jack adapter which has inbuilt DAC that will make audio experience lovely whichever your choice of headphones. Is there any other company that has done that who decided to take away 3.5 jack??!! So at least htc removed it but compensated with better audio capabilities.
Jesse Clark, 19 May 2017You are in love with HTC U11 but you'll buy xiaomi, just figured out your status I use several Lumia phones look in comment sections of the 1020/930/920. Besides of that I'm planning on getting the Note SE (a Samsung!) but the HTC U 11 or any other flagship is more likely in my favors than the S8. So I comment in forums here of phones that I like, and don't talk bad in forums that is dislike. That's the difference between a tech follower and a troll.
