For actual feel of the screen resolution one can check the GSMArena's: HTC Wildfire review: Desire Mini > Page 3. If you click on the images, they open up in a new window and are enlarged. When I save the image and open it in MS Paint and then check the attributes (Image > Attributes, with units set to pixels) it show 240 X 320 which is the resolution of HTC Wildfire. The resolution seems to be OK. Kindly correct me if the resolution is different then the actual. But I guess it will be really close... Still not available in Mumbai...

it is the 3.0 Gingerbread update that will need a min of a 1ghz processor.
The Froyo is aimed at the mid ranged CPU to boost the speed & functionality

> In reply to Tk @ 2010-08-15 17:19 from nEUT - click to readIve been using the Wildfire for the past month & its a great phone, its fast, responsive no crashing or hanging & with top end spec, the screen resolution is low but it dont compromise the quality.
It is a Mini desire....

You will find it hard to get a better phone for the price, & the Froyo upgrade due soon for it in the UK.

If you are on a budget this phone is for you, HTC & Android OS is a winner. iPhone is now looking nervous as the Android is out selling any phone world wide.

Ive had many phones over the past 18yrs & i have very good knowledge & will give you impartial info not a bias one.

They not only tell ur co-ordinates, they'll also tell ur direction, speed, altitudes, number of satellites detected, etc. Amazing.

> In reply to josette @ 2010-08-17 13:26 from 9GRP - click to readYou need resistive touch screen (pressure sensitive) since u've long nails. Wildfire and all models of iPhones have capacitive touch screen (detects electricity of our body). Resistive touch screens r cheap in price. It's not that smooth like capacitive one.

ya ive heard they underestimated the demand of the phone as it has become very popular cause it is so cheap for what it is, i waited just over a month for mine, and it was well worth the wait trust me.
