I am a Rogers Wireless customer in Vancouver Canada and own 2 HTC DREAMS. I am dissapointed!
if you want to use the google MAPS program, you may be very dissapointed with this phone. Unlike all other phones that can use google MAPS to find direction from point "A" to point "B" by transit, walking or driving... the HTC DREAM will only give direction for driving. there is no update for this phone and the factory installed google MAPS cannot be removed so that you could download the version that does have walking and transit directions. if you want walking and transit directions, buy any other phone and download the free google MAPS program.
Isn't it stupid that any phone not using a google platform has full google MAPS (the best google experience)... but the HTC DREAM with a google platform does not have the full google MAPS version (a bad google experience).
Hopefully they fix this problem quickly and offer an update to the programing.

i've been using this phone for close to three months now and i still can't get the bluetooth to work. after pairing with other phones like nokia it still says sending failed . i've also tried browsing without the wifi and through my network but it dosen't work can someone please be kind enough and tell me what to do..

Btw..this phone does have the option to put a specific ringtone for each person, and yes, I do have skype running on my device. It can be attained from the
android market as well as several other useful apps such as a file manager and many widgets and shortcuts for many customization options. =)

Great phone! New 1.5 update makes it better. Only downfall is some bad reception and the battery not being so great. However, everything else is AMAZING! Switched from a t-mobile dash. Love the new onscreen keyboard and option to use the slideout keyboard. Overall, a great phone! Catches eyes everytime I bust it out. =)

just returned it due to bad reception
absence of real keys sucks as well, but at least I knew about that
bad reception was a surprise

i'm using the HTC Magic and you can't get a better phone like that.
Easy to use packed with lot of programmes.
I really recommend this phone to all of you.

An absoloutely brilliant handset packed with amazing features along with the ability to download thousands of free applications straight onto the handset.
Shame about the battery. Battery life is really weak. I put my handset on charge over night and by early afternoon im down to half battery life.....
