Ram would be no issue. The phone itself runs great. As for the death grip issue. As said by a great person " you need to learn how to hold your phone properly". Death grip issue is no big deal if you know how to hold a phone properly. :)

Take a moist mint leaf and place it on your battery. It keeps the battery cool and increases the battery life a little. Or you could always purchase another battery.
