Hi, just wondering which one is the best - O2 Xda Trion or O2 Xda Zinc? Is there a difference except its metallic body, secondary VGA video call camera, and the absence of EDGE technology.
I just don't understand why didn't they integrate these devices with FM Radio and the built-in GPS like the E-ten X500, M700...??!! Hope their future products gonna feature these.

Hi all,
I have successfully up ROM to WM6. Cross language has to be fixed through O2 service center, left my Zinc for overnight and next day it was installed with WM6. I tried to upgrade WM my self, but it hang and my Zinc become brick. Better take it to service center, it's free since Zince was launched less than a year.

im trying very hard to set my wav tones into message alert tone but i cant really do it.i tried pasting the wav tone into the windows folder only but when i browsed the sound n notification, i cant really see the wav tone that i pasted in the windows grrrr...

It could be due to the OS that you using to install the ROM is in thai language and the ROM is in english.

Need help friends, I just D/L new ROM upgrade for Windows Mobile 6 for O2 Zinc, but I encountered error message said "Warning, Cross-language upgrade is not allowed. Please ensure the upgrade tool language is same as the default language of your device"
I have no idea how to fix it, I bought from the legitimate O2 dealer in Thailand. Thanks in advance.

my dad's getting it for me tomorrow. and i'm so excited. haha it's like 1.15 in the morning and i can't tell any of my friends that i'm getting it cus i'll seem big headed and all that stuff. but i really i'm bursting to say... YAAAAAY! i previously had the TREO, but without 3G, that sucks. and their camera is like... VGA. SERIOUSLY, its the 21st century!

to set msg tones:
only wav files will work!!
copy ur file in file xplorer.
go to windows folder n paste.
donot paste in any folder but windows folder itself.
u shud b able to see all other tones here too
goto sounds n notification n ur tone shud be der.

I downloaded the ROM thru O2's website.....and got it on my phone by flashing it via Windows XP.....Dont use Vista to flash ur ROM !!! It just doesnt work !!!! I hope that answers ur question buddy !

we have the same problem, i guess.i can't also change my message alert tone into mp3 or wave tones.only the incoming calls can be formatted into mp3 or wave tones.

I just bought this handphone, it was great!!!But I have a little problem with this phone...I can't change my music, into the message tone alert...Is it possible to chenge any music into a message alert or just a few type of music(I mean like only wav, mp3)?

Fantastic Phone......I did have a few problems with the device earlier....but after updating it with the latest ROM, it works like a breeze now !!! Its by far the best utility phone in the market......

Hi irresistable, I’ve been trying your advise but I cant really set my wave tones to become my message alert tone. I tried pasting the wav tone to the windows folder and not to its subfolders but when I browsed the sounds and notifications I still cant find the wav tone that I pasted, please help me with this. I have another question, how can I browse my globe wap using gprs? Thanks

EXCELLENT!!!! I have no problems at all with this ppc...its fast and smooth running..alot of my apllications r supported & run absolutely fine..few ppl never stop complaining but i think people like them are never satisfied..to set msg tones, only wave files can be used...paste the file (wav) in the "indows folder"..not in any sub folder but the windows folder itself..GET URSELF ONE!!!
