quad band or dual band?... I read in the samsung website that this phone has 4 bands ( 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900). Sorry my english.

Considering that this is a phone with a lower cost as compared to the previous dual sim handsets, I can only agree to all of the written comments provided here. A 1.3 mega pixel could have been used for the camera as compared to an obsolete vga, a separate 3.5 jack could've come as a great "come on" in the package, a flash light or torch and a longer battery. I have loved samsung handsets specifically dual sim phones, however for this one, I will only rate it as a flat 5.

First sorry for my weak English I hv a samsung D780 its a very poor phone first u can't use its calendar properly alarm is not working it can repeat once only not daily no 2 its keypad lock is not working properly
sms only 200
signal is very poor
music player is not good
I want to change it but i don;t know about any dual sim good phone plz help me Nokia is 1 to 10 and any mobile maker will hv to start from 11

dual sim active and 8GB supported micro sd card
but samsung should have to make its battery with long stand by and talk time at least 1500mAH battery
and at least 1.3 mega pixel camera and cheap price also

I could not find anything about the dual stand by capacity of this phone, can anyone help me to reveal?
Former models such as D880, D5212, B5702..(all with double processors) have the capacity to send busy tone, hold on/waiting tone and/or interchange between the lines
General Mobile also produces dual sim solutions
but one disadvantage of GM is "while you were on a conversation, if someone calls you on the other sim, the phone behaves as if the other sim is turned off. and the caller gets "the person you've called cannot be reached at the moment".
What about this model(single processor), would that be as capable as the other samsung models(double, or is this a reverse evolution?

samsung is making nice cells but it is not providing the same charer to all phones.
why..?
why not samsung.....?
but one thing i can tel u all is samsung is giveing nice futures in new handsets.
and i like the consept of making duos.
i love dualsim phones.
i have used all models of "dualsims""" in samsung. tank's to samsung mobile makers.

Samsung always produce rough cell.Who,s signal quality is very bad & also with low sms space.

It's so poor design, look like chinese products, Feature, especially camera that is not acceptable to dual sim users. batter capacity bring the problem which is going to be unconfortabile about short talk time.

dual sim always sucks more power from battery so
1000 mah battery is not enough for dual sim
engineers have no brain they should put atleast 1500 mah battery.
