i recently owned sony ericsson w810i for almost an year then it died on me. now i want to buy k850 but am wondering whether it will die on me like my w810? is it durable? and why was it discontinued?

had this phone a while ago, lovely lovely phone, only problem is it died on me, well i had it replaced 4 times in a year to be exact. but it was an amazing phone.. they eventually replaced it with a c902, which was indestructable, dropped that phone ...
