DO not ask where to buy this. or why this is not imported to my country etc.
For those living in EU (European Union) they can buy it from any electronic or normal shop with it's base in EU. And yes in case anything happens warranty is paneuropean (covers all europe no matter which member you bought it, no matter where you live. this is EU regulations.
For the rest i think huawei also provides global guarantee, but which service on it's central offices in china.
You can check buying the phone on amazon.co, ebay.com, aliexpress.com or just search "buy Ascend D2" on any machine such as google, yahoo, bing etc and you will see many online shops selling it

hi, i bought my Ascend D2 in Shenzhen (China) over the weekend (April 27) in one of the stores in Hua Qiang Bei. It cost me 3700 RMB which is about $580 AUD or $600 USD. I haven't used Android for awhile but first impressions of this phone are very positive

I had first gen of Ascend D for about 6 months, bought in China from internal Huawei employee.

Run good for over 5 months and then suddenly the speaker is dead. Still produce sound using headset.

Search on google, found some users experience the same problem. Hope huawei warranty cover this problem. Will send to Huawei soon.

The network that your phone connected to is most probably linked to Huawei equipments. If it is not due to certain countries such as America, Australia etc banning the use of Huawei's telecommuncation equipments due to political reasons, it should be the biggest telecommunication now. I am waiting for this phone to be available in Malaysia and go for it.
