Yes i have upgraded to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean. Huawei released their own version of 4.1.1 for the Ascend P1 called Emotion UI 1.5 you can download it from their site and perform a SD card upgrade.
Ascend p1 has non removable battery then is it ok. wont it create problems. If we want to change battery then what is to be done. Any answers.

DISGRUNTLED SHOPPER, 12 Apr 2013This phone is awful Chinese crap, it gets to hot to the point of where it might damage the cam... moreI completely disagree, used the phone for a year, not a single problem.
its showing 1800mah Battery .
price is good only 12490 Rs.
I have this phone and it seems a good phone, very similar to a galaxy SII I had not long ago, I am eagerly awaiting the JB upgrade though, there is a beta version available but I heard some functions are lost in it, so I think ill wait till there's a release version available. The only thing I was surprised about and let down by, was the fact that it only comes with 4 gig of system memory, the one thing I never bothered to check before I bought it, naively thinking all phones nowadays came with at least 16/32 gig built in, but quickly solved by a class A SD card. Apart from that the only thing missing from this compared to other similar phones is no NFC and 4G/LTE but all in all I do like it.
