RAM is crucial, but for the Icecream/Jellybean players only who run a whole lot of apps at once. Remember, RAM allows you to Storage/Randomly Access Memory like apps are put into memory instead of being read directly from the internal/external storage all the time, but the CPU is the brain, pushing how fast things respond. Dual-core 1.5Ghz is fine, quad-core 1.4-5Ghz is great! 1GB of RAM is vital, 2GB is amazing. More is always better, and mind you; Huawei is taking a great approach to this market. They are producing amazing CPUs in-house, with smooth graphics, that beat a lot of the 2012 4th-Quarter flagships. Research and know what you're talking about, before creating false rumours.

Youre right, that it isnt doing the phone faster, but when its only a dual core, the phone will be slower, if you have more than 2 programs open, when if you have a quard core, youre fone will only be slower if you have more than 4 programs open! ;-)

why its only 1GB RAM? bb z10 has 2gb ram with only 2 core cpu. quadcore is not important, dual core is more than enough. give it a higher RAM for stability in multitasking
