I managed to root my tablet today, windows media player 11 is necessary for users with Windows XP and also updating the Hi-Suite, to assure that rooting of the device will succeed.

Thanks for the respond. Well, can anyone help me root this tablet? I have tried the method which uses a command script that will root the mediapad while it's connected via usb. Unfortunately, it does not work, even though I have enabled usb debugging. Please help, I really want to root this tablet and has anyone tried overclocking this using no-frills cpu or set cpu by using default rooted ICS?

its so simple my friend. with a papular app, wich called (app to sd). you can find it on market(play shop). youre so lucky because its close for my country and my people. ye your right because im in irannnnnnnnnn. like the cattttt!!! miiiiiio

Ok, but the pak that came out in april isn't available on their website anymore. I will wait to see if they will make a pak to adress the battery problem

I really find this mediapad great ,have it for two months now from jarir book store in madinah , no lag no crash run smooth but really the disappointing thing is the battery

first update in april improved the battery a little bit.
second update in may battery didnt improve but geuss what now you can move your app to sd card which imroved the inbuild memory thanks huawei for keepin serial update

actually the battery life depend on how did you use it ??!
so if you would be a fan of continous net surfing or game player this is not your choice except in case of you are moving with the charger
but still the price is good for this device

I just got the Huawei media pad,and discovered mine came with internal memory of 2.22gb,meanwhile online it says 8gb internal memory,so what's going on? I don't understand,pls does anybody have similar problem or is it just mine,someone pls reply so I know if I should return it

Service pk sp13 and sp18 is nt on d website anymore, anywhere else I can get sp18? Does. Sp19. Improve battery performance? Can someone plse helpp me here

I tried gettingon the webpage to download the service pack sp18 but it keep saying its not available, can anybody me wats going on? I need that update for mediapad 7 lite batteryis really terrible.help!!
