Yes, I agree with you you Locusinjuria. For some reasons, there is a problem with the sound setting. I also noticed that everytime I receive a call from a different telco (ie. Globe Telecom to Smart Telecom and vise versa), the call quality is very choppy but when its between Globe to Globe and Smart to Smart, the call quality is excellent.
I am clueless as to what is happening. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing here in the Philippines?

I've bought mine 3 days ago. The most annoying problem I have is that when I receive call, the ringtone were at its loudest. However I already set them to be half the setting. Each time I received call, the sound will on its loudest. Several times it goes as if the sound were ascending.
Whats with that? Anybody know how to rectify this? Pls help. Its not a big deal...but for a flagship entitled device, I felt that this shouldn't happen.
Other than that, camera - awesome, connectivity-superb, user experience-marvellous, no lag, able to multi-tssk with ease.
But pls help on the sound problem. Is it software or hardware issue? Tnx.
I purchased a P9 2 days ago.
I just noticed that if I play a game (with max volume turned ON) and then switch to playing music (thru the built-in app still with max volume setting turned ON), the sound for the game that is running on the background is reduced to a rather "cavelike" sound. The music for the player I just launched, is just playing perfectly fine though.
When I switch back to the game, the music from the player is turned OFF. Then the music for the game goes back to normal.
Is this normal? I need to know if this is normal or if there's a way around it. Else, I'll be returning my P9 for a different brand

I personally never noticed it to be an issue and the size is fine for me. Maybe it's an issue for people with bad eyesight. Anyway, you can increase the font size by going in the settings menu/Display/Font size. It increases the system font size which includes messages.
Ive just bought my P9 last week and I Love it, the battery is superb with extreme use and it last a day and half, the camera is very good, the processor is fast...the only thing needs improvement is the font size, the font size of the txt message rcvd should be the same when you type a msg, and also the size of the notifications were very small on lock screen, I hope in the nxt update of Emotion UI the font size will be applicable to all ie.notifications, icon labels and on the text messaging...and lastly there should have options that we can delete unecessary apps thats not applicable to daily use. HUAWEI P9 ROCKS!
once the nougat update is released this phones price will not go down anymore, sorry for those who sold theirs
I have the Nexus 6P made by Huawei and had it for just about a year. It is the best phone I ever had. I just received a new Pixel XL from Google/HTC and I actually put my sim card back in the Huawei Nexus 6P...in my opinion, it is superior. I am looking forward to get a new Mate 9 Pro when it comes out. Conclusion; as a Samsung (s3,s5,s6), Apple (5,5S,6,6S) and Nexus (all of them) owner, I can compare and tell you that Huawei in my comparative experience is up there with the best.

Hi! Are huawei devices reliable? And did anyone here experience any serious hardware or

of the phone(considering its a chinese product)because i tend to keep my phone for quite a long time before changing it.Please recommend me and thank you!

Hi, i need opinions on choosing either huawei P9 or oppo F1 plus. I am not a camera expert just need in term of performances and rating. Thanks
Hello justa quick question. I am planning to replace my Alcatel Flash 2 this week. Now I am torn between Huawei P9 and Oppo F1s. Which one is better in terms of cam, battery and stabilty when it comes to hardcore games? Thanks for reply. Have nice day ahead.
Guada, 06 Oct 2016this or the Sony X performance? Tough choice, longtime Sony user here and had to make the choice between an X Performance or switch to Huawei and get the P9. Chose the P9 because of the Camera (Half the res but far better) and because the X Performance is far more expensive in my country. The SoC might be better but not by far, and Sony's support won't last long since they just released the XZ as their main flagship this year.
Saleh Ahmed Anik, 12 Oct 2016Camera Performance better than S7 edge? P9 user here (Loving it!), a friend of mine has the S7 so we decided to compare the cameras.
In daylight conditions the P9's camera is probably the best out there in the market. The photos are ridiculously good and look more natural than in the S7. In low light conditions the S7 photos are clearer, more coloured and less noisy though, so I guess it's kind of a draw.
In terms of video recording the S7 is unbeatable though.
