Really good phone, mine fell into a tub of water but after drying out in a few hours it was back to full use. After two weeks of use here are the pros and cons:
wifi feature is great you can use it as wifi hotspot for upto 8 devices.
internet speed is great.
touch screen is very responsive
very loud stereo speakers
lots of applications to choose from android market
Battery drains real quickly even with 3G, bluetooth and wifi turned off. Needs charging at least 1 to 1.5 days
Mediocre earphones, very low volume
Poor quality camera
Bob, 24 Jan 2011Please remove the Adobe Flash support, this phone can not run Adobe Flash. There is currently... moreThe phone has a 528 mhz ARM 11 processor. Quite fast considering a phone like nokia n95 has only a 369 mhz processor and supports adobe flash.
Seems some people here have little hands on experience of smart phones. They are simply mini computers. And can run very many apps in the background. An average smart phone has about 128 MB of ram, making this phone a smart phone on steroids with its 256MB. The only downside is that they use battery power. Trust me even apps in background consume energy especially those that try to maintain a connection to a network e.g. Internet or wifi. I have seen many complaints on battery life so here are a few pointers. Try to minimize running apps to only those you currently need, make sure that the apps you are no longer using are REALLY closed, use 2g networks, turn off gps when not in use, and your battery will last more than 3 days! One other very important thing is "burning in" the new battery. Ensure that you have taken the battery through at least 5 full charge cycles before you start half charging the battery. I also saw somewhere that it's not advisable to quickly discharge new batts e.g. by over use... Something to do with ensuring that the battery reaches it's peak performance before you really start sweating it. I'm not sure about the last one but anything will do to improve battery life. This Qwerty keyboard sucks. Only thing that saves it's ass is the predictive text. Anyway... Great phone for the price.
i bought dis phone yesterday overall i like dat phone but d only thing is m not satisfy wid camera clearity
This is a pretty decent phone at this price point. If you are looking for a budgeted Android mobile then just close your eyes and go for it, else check other ones. If budget is not a constraint, then go for LG Optimus One. It's a brilliant phone.
