I bought this phone very cheap and it was my first smartphone.

The Good:
The price
Features
Camera takes decent pictures in daylight
GPS works fine
Decent screen

The Bad:
Small internal memory
Slow, but it helps to download another launcher (I use Launcher Pro)
Sometimes it reboots randomly - extremely annoying
Mine has dust under the screen

I purchased my X1 when my main android broke, as a cheap replacement. I found after the first month, the battery life totally died, and the stock rom was rather bloated. It runs nicely with an unofficial cyanogenmod port. Still doesn't fix the battery though- they really should have supplied it with a beefier battery in my opinion.

I had this phone for about a year, after the first week the battery started to get worse (about 1 hour maximum). Then after about two months, the screen became unresponsive in a large amount of areas, and the phone slowed down considerably. After six months the phone became so unresponsive that I could no longer text message people and the back button light died. After 10 months the screen became so unresponsive that I could not unlock the screen properly without it lagging out for at least 30 seconds and the battery lasted about 10 minutes. I would not recommended this phone to ANYONE. Pay the extra money for something that will work for a long period of time.

Wow, this phone is great. Some are commenting above negatively but surely, if you don't know how to use it please consult. It is supports all features of Ideos Ascend or Galaxy Pocket. It's performance as a modem is perfect and also as a portable WIFI router for several laptops. It also support Google Play and all great apps found there. The only mere failures are: Low battery life when used as a modem or using many apps at the same time. It also becomes hot while charging and its internal memory for downloaded apps is small, you have to keep on uninstalling old apps to get more space for new ones. Otherwise the phone is good considering its price to functionality.
