> In reply to Freddie @ 2011-01-21 08:50 from fuwx - click to readSafaricom in Kenya have huawei U8150 IDEOS-TFT 2.8 & not Huawei U8800 IDEOS X5-TFT 3.8. These are two different 4ns. We also have Huawei U9000 IDEOS X6-TFT 4.1 & Huawei IDEOS S7 (a tablet)-TFT 7.0. Thanks

> In reply to copy @ 2011-01-19 16:26 from MtrS - click to readDear friend,
I have already checked the main site of Huawei, and here are the direct links for Ideos X5:

http://www.huawei.com/news/vie...5&cid=42

http://www.huaweidevice.com/re...ucts_x5.html

There is no trace of HDMI-port and I know what am I writing. GSMARENA has its office in Sofia/Bulgaria and it is normally to make reviews of the cells mainly for the european market. That's why you can not see reviews of other phones, because there are not on our market still.
And once again - the specs of the phone, stated on the GSM-site are not completely right. There is no HDMI-port. The memory is 4 GB,not 2 GB. If there are two versions of the same model (European, Chinese) then this should be written in the specs.

Hi everyone, am amazed that this phone is already on sale in Kenya. Safaricom are offering the same at 8,499 Kenya Shillings. Am sure Yu are on it too. Its a good phone, though much of its features like the qwerty are not shown on the pictures. Its a good phone.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2011-01-12 10:58 from YTL2 - click to readLG optimus one is good, but it doesn't have Flash Player 10.1 as like this phone. So we can't get full browsing experience in Optimus one.

No support on XDA as of yet, you should say.

I wouldn't start sweating yet, as the phone is not easy to get hold of. Just wait til it has been on the market for a few weeks.

Just my 2 cents..
Anyone planning to purchase this should go for LG OPTIMUS ONE P500, as there is no support on XDA Forums for this. SO No custom Roms :( and in India there is no release date.

Will this phone launch in India?
if Yes,
when and for how much?

I am planning to buy optimus one. But if this phone launches in India and in around same price bracket as of optimus one, then this would be a way better phone than optimus one.
