Imate has gone bankrupt,no manpower,no salary,no product road map for years now,the company is working with 5 people now.810f is A flop product, trust me -no TECHNICAL support, since the company will close down any time,THE CEO is not to be seen or heard, earlier products have not accepted total flop products.Good luck to who so ever buys this JUNK STUFF.

I am not too familiar with i-mate or their products but this phone is truly amazing when it comes to practicality and durability for Industrial and Commercial use. The design is subjected to personal preferences but again, where can you find a WinMo device with both a Touchscreen, a full Qwerty and in non-slide candy bar form factor?
As for those who complained as to why the screen isn't offered at a higher resolution, camera modules of 2Megapixels, I believe they are looking at offering the basic specification for industrial use, rather than having a far-fetch thought that by equipping it with a bigger screen and better camera they can dethrone Blackberry Storm and IPhone from the best touchscreen PDA Phone.
The offering of Lifetime warranty comes with a fine print that you need to be sure what's it truly about. But I can see that they tend to work out on the warranty faster this time around as there'll be a no frills, no question asked 1 to 1 exchange. This will save them more on the cost and turnaround time. They can even produce in excess to get a better economic of scale.
This device will give devices such Motorola, Symbol and Zebra a run for the money.
Take a look at Casio G'Zone and Sony-Ericcson "shark-fin" phone! They are element proof but not crush resistance like the 810F.
Give this guy a chance and see if iMate can find niche in their product range and tap from the unexplored market.

i think it is time imate bows out in grace and steps out of the phone race. A shame to have started so strong and today to represent bad quality phones and short battery life.

i dont think i-mate is able to launch this product, before also if u can see they simply cancelled so many products before its launch.actually the success behind i-mate is HTC company, and they are not colabrating with i-mate now.and without HTC i think i-mate is just looked like a handicap company

You can see this product on youtube, but very few viewers though. This shows how many people give a damn about the brand.
Own an i-mate at your own peril.
The company is financially unstable.

Forget the I-mate brand guys.
They appear to be out of the game.
Anyway just look at their latest offering.
Whata yawn.
Maybe I-mate should consider putting this one in corn flake packets
With almost no service backup or any Tech support -
WHY BOTHER!!
RIP I-MATE.

Imate needs to sell eggs atleast they can make some in this business money ,instead of selling dirty cheap windows device with no service center,no good devices, nothing but rotten device, and no future product road map,"where Jim uncle "doing what now "hatching eggs" atleats do that periodically"
