hi every1, i have just bought this set second hand a month back, its working fine, but have few things if any1 can Please tell me..!!
1- how can i upgrade the windows version??
2- is ther any online manual for jam??
3- how can i use mp3 files as ringtunes????

i have imate jam black.the operating of this phone is very tough.every time screen alignment required.voulume is very low.battery back is very low .with out using phone for a day it gives a 6 hrs back.its beacause of led light i believe.
can and other pc phone of imate you can recommend

I have the I-mate JAM Black ,i have some in use this the mobile , when i;ll started blutooth but is not started , shwon the message in the display (there is no Blutooth hardware installed on this device.
plz rectifier the my complaint in my i-mate jam black,

This is a class set.I cross a hardle to gprs settings.It is very different from other mobile.It is tough to get internet settings for connecting to my pc .But atlast it is done.Now i am connecting to my pc via this device.But please someone tell me how to send files to my jam from my pc by bluetooth(bluesoleil) like songs ,video ,images.help me.

I am doctor by profession. i want to buy some pocket pc that also should serve as a mobile, but i have no experience.i want to save and install different books and softwares in it.but i come to know that when battery finishes all the saved data is lost, can any body guide me , is it true?how can i overcome it? is there some safe device? one more thing i heard that mobile function usually hangs up,then which is best .i need pc with processor 400 or plus, does ram 64 or 128 make any difference in function? THANK A LOT

i recently bought an O2 XDA II Mini which is the same as this except it has 64 mb RAM and the JAM black has 128. as far as i know this is the only difference
yes you can use msn messenger on pocket pc based platforms. just download msn messenger for pocket pc or email me and i can help you.

Hi, I´m planning to buy either a JAM black or JAM+WIFI SD Card in a few days, maybe this week . What do you think is better:
1. JAM+WIFI Card = Low Cost + fast Processor+ WIFI Card coming ou the unit 2mm (can get stucked in a pocket or the case), Op system that looses all data if battery is gone,
2.Jam Black = Looks gud , with 128 mb ram, same specs. as jam.Is there any diff. b/w the two jam & jam(black)?
How slow is the Jamin 200Mhz Processor?? does it really bother a standard user ?? Are you going to become nuts, waiting for diferent windows just usin your phone??? if start loading tons of aplicattions, do you notice the lack of speed?
And how are the colours of JAM ? Only 65k colourscreen without 3G,it is bothering me.EDGE is one feature that JAMIN has and JAM doesn´t...is it really important to consider???
Is there anyone who has used JAM(black) and is happy with the colrs. Is 3G really important?
* Are there any other good PDA fones in the same price range of about 520US$ with equal or better features?Specially with 3G.
