i have a i mate jama phone,i purchased 1 month back
but it will not give the good backup it gives only 2 days if not using also

i ve a jama i mate cell and i made it on default factory setting and now i lost the setting of i mate number place settingd, how casn i get this setting

Go to my documents and then to ringtones and paste them.
Then u can go to profiles and u can change u r ring tone

worst phone that i ever had ...
problems occured during 8months of its lifetime !
1. (3weeks )display getting blank after boot(resolved)
2. 2months later phone automatically turns 'on' when battery is inserted.
3. half of the touch screen stops responding .. ppl at imate care said that this is not under warranty although there was no physical damage ( paid money to resolve it )
4. later i went to imate care to upgrade to windows 6.0 they said upgrade is not free, again paid 600inr for upgrade ( this is 100% true since imate has windows 6.0 roms for jama etc. but still it doesn't allows users to download it or get their set upgraded at imate care
5. phone stops booting again ? wtf?
newa i got totally pissd up and i threw away JAMA
im not back on HTC universal which is been problem free for three years (excluding battery change)
jama : cheap phone ,cheap quality, rubbish company
never buy an imate .. id say ny company wud be better than this

Just Copy Mp3 ringtone tone at the folder Named "My

Documents" in Phone Memory And for the Msg tone

just paste Only .wav File at windows folder also at phne

memory. Then go to "Sounds and notifications" and select

ur desired ringtone thts it mate.

i bought my I-mate Jama about a year ago. The problem I encountered was taht I loss my signal totally and after I power-down or wait the signal cme back. During a call I loss signal, just bad reception, battery life max 3 days. Any person with same problem or solution
