to nidhin,
got this Jama 101 just yesterday and I resetted it as well and yes the language was changed to Arabic.
what I did to fix this up was I resetted it again but for the second time I did not tap on the agree instead I tapped on the other way around
try it it might work to you

Start>Setting>System Tab>Multilingual.
No need of Rebooting/Master booting.

Even I have bought Imate Jam 101 from dubai(yesterday).
I can solve your problem.
There is one software in your mobile so called as Arabic-English Language.
Just put that off and the device will ask for reset. Reset it by pressing soft key near the charger slot and the problem is solved.

hey..i jus got an imate jama 101 an i dunno how to use it yet ..except for the calls..i dunno how to use the net also ...my most important question is how can i change the language from arabic to english ???...i got it mixed english an arabic @ the same time an i dun understand anything at all..so heeeeeeelllllllpppppppppppp plz !

So far so good the phones doing quitye ok.. Is it that people dont know how to use it. Connected to everything I do in the office no problems apart from My Fellow Kenyans wanting to steal it..Quite ok So to say
