hi,i've a i-mate jama201.but it's battery power is very low & it's not supportting more than 2GB,Micro CD Card.

The solution is simple, just remove your StorageCard remove battery, insert battery. switch on the phone.

It will start normally. after windows start insert Memory card

see..i am having problem with my phone right now..it seems that my i mate jama 201 is not charging and is not turning on when i turn it on..what is the solution for this? thanks a lot

hello! my brother bought me a jama 201 this year at Doha Qatar then suddenly there is a problem in this phone encountered, it was always phone off when i brought this phone in any service center smart or globe or from others they cant do something. so, what would i do?

hai I am using imate jama201.can someone suggest me that how I can asign any mp3 ringtone or song from phone memory or card memory as a incoming call ringtone ? because there are only four ringtone available in sound section . awaiting earliest response. my contact number is 9807813615.

1) Open the back cover of your device & remove the battery.

2) Take a key, any key be it a car key or a door room lock key & push the battery contact with that key twice or thrice. This will flush the memory & reset the soft memory it would not be a hard reset and I am sure you device will run normally.

i got imate 201 and after 2 days of work all the keys are stucked. when i press a key, display lights up but keys are not working. even i cant answer to a call.
pls tell me what shall i do? (Hard reset?)

i buy jama 201 and there's a problem. i bought it in saudi arabia. and i come home to phil. then when i try to open the phone. it got stuck. the key don't function normally. the only key that working is the OK button at the side and the down button. you have to press the other button to press down. i want to reformat it but i dont know where i can find a OS or how to reformat it. if anyone know how to solve my problem. please kindly send me the solution. here's my e-mail add. trevor_leonhart@yahoo.com

I had bought this phone on eBay via Bombay Mall for 7100. It has been 3 weeks and this phone is just fantastic to use with excellent features. I have to say that I just love the feel of it in my hands.

The only thing missing from this phone is an FM Radio.

A windows mobile and FM radio are very rare to find but it is a good combination.

But for this price it is still a bargain

Will keep you all posted about this phones performance later.

i didnt like this mobile i have one of them and it has a hearing problem and i made it and it has the same problem again.

Hi All,
I bought this device today for an amount of Rs. 7100/- only (mumbai).

I must tell the device is really light weighted, sleek, good grip on hands and easy to operate, i guess keys are hard, might possible as i use, it will become soft.

I must tell, the device is a WOW!! i have installed all google mobile apps (gmail, maps, search etc), nimbuzz, opera mini and call recording software.

I have also used the feature of Goolge SYNC and it rocks.

Device is not too slow as mentioned by other reviewers (no offense).

Sound Quality is not too good and not too bad.

Worth Buying.... Highly recommended.

Waste of my Money. My Imate Jama 201 has a radio problem since the day I bought it in August 2008 from Dubai. It doesnt have a good strength signal 90% i have a no signal sign on my phone. I am hardly able to make any calls or send or receive messages. Complete waste of my money I so regret buying this product made & marketed by unprofessionals.
