can one please tell me who's actually using i mate jamin about the quailty of sound and the sound of a speaker phone is it loud and clear or not

I've tired using jabra's hands free on my imate jam and it didn't work i am not sure about this model. you can only use to make calls and when i tried to pair devices to listen my mp3 NOPE it won't work the way it works with nokia phones. I had to use the hands free that comes with i mate jam

Hi i need to find out if i can use a bluetooth stereo headset, either a motorola, jabra or a blueant to listen to MP3s with. If anyone has any info to help that'd be great!!!

im sorry i forgot the mention the very few negatives about the phone...

infact, there is only 1..

the battery life is around 24 hours with heavy use and with standby it is about 48 hours...according to all the battery details it is supposed to be 150 hours during standby...however the heavy use battery life is slightly better than the amount written...

concerned to speed that many people are asking about on the internet...it is good...wht i mean is that a 416 Mhz would be like driving a ferrari, but it is good enough to drive a Mercedes...

overall i am satisfied with my phone...if u want to go for a windoes mobile, i would advise this one...

i just got my i-mate jamin yesterday. its absolutely wonderful. workds 100% correctly...dont listen to all the rumors aroud the internet, cause there all wrong! imate jamin does not reset every 5 minutes...neither is it slow...i think its just perfect. i have used many imate devices before(i.e. JASJAR, PDA2, PDA2K, PDA-N, SP3i, SP5m, but i think that the best of all was the JAMin...if u want to go for teh imate brand, or a pda with a phone built in, go for it....imate jamin is the best option u got!!!

By the way, does anybody know if skype works on this...ive heard u can clock the processor speed upto its required, has anyone tried it??

if yes please post reply on this area...i will come here and check later...

stop all the panicing about the jamin, man that pda works like magic, everyone who wants to buy it GO AHEAD < we've been hapily "married" 2 months now, amazing work, master piece, dont think twice, just go n get it, windows media player-powerpoin-word-excel THE REAL DEAL MAN! the heck with o2 xda, JAMIN IZ DA REAL DEAL YAW , peace out!

i had a look at the specs of both devices, the imate JAMin and the Atom. Well wht i would say is that it depends....

everything is similar except the processor speed. Atom has 400 Mhz while JAMin just has 200Mhz.
if u use applications like skype, than i would advise Atom, btu if u want it just fro normal use and a good phone, than i would advise JAMin.

the speed is good. it is not amaizng just good. i was expecting it to be faster, but it is the same speed as my Nokia N70, N80, N90, N91. I have all of these phones at the moment. JAMin is probably slightly faster than all fo them. All of teh otehrs have similar speed.

I have these phone for now 1 month , really cool and all features allmost 99% functional.Though camera is not as clear or good as nokia.I'm a medical post grad student and business man.It suits my needs to carry docs,music,video,etc..also completely replaced my laptop b'coz of wi-fi.Still if it had a keyboard on the same size of the phone could have been much cool CHECK OVER GOOGLE for pocket pc and you will find many addware.could i install gps on these >? If anyone know pls answer me. thank you.

Can anybody tell me how is the processor speed of JAMin 200Mhz is nothing means this phone is very much slow in processing or using internet or msn, can anybody tell me please.

I have had this smartphone (imate JAMin)for about a week....and absolutely love it...however it has a fmajor law..after the FIRST TIME using the audio jack with the headphones provided....the external speaker did not work. How oxymoronic...a phone that doesn't ring!!!!. Anyway TOPP solutions in Miami Florida has had it for repair about 9 days and I'm waiting to get it back. I'll post the results of the repair.

i just purchased an i-mate JAMin and i could not find the software niether realpleyer nor the MMS, plz guys if you have to know about where to find them, let me know .. i realy need to view .rm files and also send messages throu the MMS
