i changed the Caller Id setting(under Start --> Phone --> Menu --> Options --> Services --> Caller ID):Provide my Caller Id to: No OneAfter that, a pop-up appeared " Registering settings on the network" and all my outgoing calls were barred. Then i reverted by selecting the option :
Provide my Caller Id to: EveryoneThen the message "Registering settings on the network" didn't appear and outgoing calls are still blocked. I tried FACTORY RESET / MASTER CLEAR many times but in vain. So please tell me how can i revert the settings. I USED OTHER SIM CARD ALSO BUT OUTGOING CALLS STILL BARRED..........any solutions please help.....please mail to prasanth.alex@gmail.com

I have been using JamIn for the last two year. I can not change since i paid lots of money for it. It looked fancy. I will never by an iMate again.
It is good as organizer, internet surfing ONLY. As a phone it is useless due to:
1- Very very poor sound quality.
2- Useless camera.
3- Very slow for all functions.
4- Poor internatioanl standards. E.g. Bluetooth. As a result does not benifit from latest cadgets like SonyEricson Bluetooth Head set.
5- No way to dial while driving.

I bought a second hand imate jamin and i dont have a software cd for active sync, can somebody send me a copy of that software through my e-mail add. I really nid it. Thanks.fjbdacanay@yahoo.com

Imate JAMin : no more sound
I was using my JAMin when in a sudden, it just went mute. I turned it off and on again but it didnt do any good. Everything else is working fine; it's just that there is no sound.

Re the person who wanted the software.
I may be wrong, but I believe all that was on the software dsic was activesync; you can get this but copying and pasting the address below and download.

I just got a Jamin and still exploring the thing. I found out that .wmv format videos doesn't play well from the memory card. It's getting stuck while playing. A buffering problem I presume. Anyone knows how to rectify this problem? please mail me at hemajithperera@hotmail.com

Help Needed with Sound !!![Imate JAMin]

I need urgent help with this problem im having. I was using my JAMin when all of a sudden, it just went mute. I turned it off and on again but it didnt do any good. Everything else is working fine; it's just that there is no sound.
I've tried inserting and taking out the hands-free pin from the jack but still no luck. I even tried the hard reset; but still no success.
Kindly help me out!

Buy a 1800 miliamper battery from www.dealextreme.com . I am using and it dures approx. 2 times more than original and works great .
