Hi,
Just bout JAQ yesterday after reviewing it for more than a month. Feels better and just right for the shirt pocket, don't feel because of it's light weight. NOw, how can I transfer my contacts from Nokia N72? Please help me..
By the way, the touchscreen rocks.

Service of i-mate is not to the mark. Be aware spares of the piece are not available easily & that too in India, usually its to be imported paying phenomenal cost. One fine day touch-screen of my piece cracked when it was switched for recharging, it has been 3 months - i'm trying to access i-mate customer care, but really no one cares. Phone is fantastic, but the touchscreen is sensitive to power supply and despite of 3/4 service centres in India, nobody really bothers to service the customers. Even the e-mails written to offices @ Dubai & Singapore are bouncing back. Presently the phone costs to Rs.8,000 plus something in India, but touch-screen costs Rs.5.000 plus ... you better take the decision what should be done - whether you should buy one or not buy one ... Best Luck ...

i have a imate jaq, i want delete all the present contacts on the phone and reload fresh ones. i have no clue how to do that. can some one help. my retailer cant help me with that.

Iam using this phone , performance is quite okay, but can someone please tell me the GPRS settings, i can see the mobile gets attched to the network , but i cant browse any website. I have a MTNL Delhi connection. The MNTL customer care is clueless about this brand, so if anyone has the settings please share.

hi guys...
i have a problem which no body must have thought and no body must have tried it,
i have two mobiles 1 is nokia N73 and other Imate JAQ so i m trying to connect internet on imate through(bluetooth)from N73 coz N73 has GPRS, i tried it by using my connection, it dials and soon gets disconected cos the GPRS symbol on N73 blinks and dissapears that means it tries but dissconects. any body having idea regarding how to make connection, please contact me on given e mail add. i ll be very thankfull...

Pl send gprs settings for i-mate JAQ phone (sim- Vodafone and Airtel in Gujarat with pre paid connection)
Second one I am not able to share data with my PC can any one help out please.
Three :The problem I am facing is the battery back up. Its amazingly low.
Four :problem drivers for XP to use it as a modem to surf on PC, any one has it pls email across.
i am not able to connect my mobile through my pc for internet because of my pc is not detecting any modem. i am looking for your help, is there any one who knows about this problem please give me a mail or call on this no-09428732849.i am very thank full for that. i- mate is a good phone it is working if we will compare it through price.

well i have been using this cell for last 2 months and my severe problem is of battery back up.
i am afraid to talk to anyone since i keep myself prepared for emergency.the battery life is that low.

Hi,
I am using this phone for past three weeks.
The problem I am facing is the battery back up. Its amazingly low. My mobile bill has come low because I am scared to use the phone for making calls.
The second problem is the network issue. Every one who calls me tell me to get rid of my old phone and buy a new one. How can I tell them that this is the new phone.
The Audio output while making or receiving call is extremely low. Is this a concern or the advantages (Am I the only one facing)of the phone. Please let me know if I can rectify the same.

when i am connecting i-mate_JAQ through USB cable after disabling activesyn my pc is not detecting as usb modem. and i am unable to connect it net.but it is ok with bluetooth.also it is always showing low bat.can any one help me

hi... ppls... I got tis mobile 4 days before, it rocks.. But the only problem tat i face is. Wen i keep my mobile in my pouch the back light won get switched off if i attend some call or recive som message.. and if i select an option in settings tat [the back lights should not turn on while tapping the screen] then the back light wont function while reciving calls or messages.. Kindly post reply hw to over come tis problem.... Waiting for ur reply...

Huh.! great phone as far as i'm concerned. The only grudge i have against this particular handset is that it lacks a cam. The windows mobile OS is a plus point. And well the best part about the whole thing is the bundled softwares that you get along with it, simply awesome. But the windows media player aint all that great, hence people can download the DivX mobile player which is available for no cost at their website

the interface is just awesome..and for people who feel the touch screen is a bit lopsided..like biased more towards the left..i say thats SH*T. it's evenly distributed and the sensitivity is perfect. the screen is oh so huge for all kinds of media that are viewable.has a mini-sd slot for the extended experience, and the earphones shipped along with it are just fine, except for this one thing..i've not yet found a way to keep the device completely silent.there are these network generated messages which make sound and u just cant do away with 'em. the QWERTY keyboard is too great, but if you're looking forward to texting way past your bedtime hiding inside the bedsheet, beware..the keys make considerable clicking noises..but you can always use the touch-keypad. and the battery life is more than sufficient- works out to around 3.8 hours with video on the earphones, after which the battery succumbs to low charge. well the stylus is placed in a very odd place..took me three days to figure out that the device has a stylus somewhere in it, till which time i was using the spare stylus which came along with it. The speakerphone quality is crisp and loud.
all in all ... a great buy.
