Just bought last week, great features, good battery life (16-20 hrs with 3 hrs of surfing), one problem drivers for XP to use it as a modem to surf on PC, any one has it pls email across.

Frequent Hanging of JAQ:
It appears to be true of iMate devices or MS Windows Mobile 5.0 based devices. My Jasjam hangs often and I have to do soft-rest.

i am not able to connect my mobile through my pc for internet because of my pc is not detecting any modem. i am looking for your help, is there any one who knows about this problem please give me a mail or call on this no-09960626636.i am very thank full for that. i- mate is a good phone it is working if we will compare it through price.

hi guys.i hve ordered for this phone tdy.its features r d best and it ofrs a lot for its low cost..but ofcourse one drawback is that there is no camera..but this is the best pda..

It's wonderfull product!
But I am unable to find it's Modem driver for Windows 2000/XP, not in supplied ActiveSync CD, can anybody tell where to find the driver

I think the price is good on the battery it does not last long. that's very serious but one can carry another battery brick while travelling or on the move. it keeps hanging and I have to switch off and on many a times!

I have owened this phone for 3 days and every time i get a call or place a call the phone starts dialing 9999999.Alot of other people are having the same issue,hope i-mate can fix this.

its good to own a pocket pc, i bought it for surfing net n doing al the works which i m doing in my note book. as far as cost is concern its little expensive as its doesnt hav camera and these days camera is fashion.after using full menus thn only i wil come to knw all the details/ features. thnx

I bought the phone 2 days back and charged it completely. The battery goes to 30% from full charge in few hours with almost 20 min. of talk time. I have read that the talktime you get on full charge is 4 hrs.
Can someone tell me if i have missed something and is there any solution to my problem?

those sound stupid who hate this phone for not havin a cam.
a business phone is indeed a business phone.
its price in india hav slashed recently
n now it costs around Rs.7000 only.
so really a good deal.
though m just plannin 2 buy it 4 my dad !!
i want 2 know its service n post sale repair market in india.
iMate is not so good in this field i heard!!

It Looks odd but when you use its features.
you'll love it. previously i was using my laptop outlook to manage day schedules but now i am more organised. i can check my professional mail id on outlook, i can send mms i can use google talk. do try this its gr8
even if you try voice chat on google talk
trust me it works on vodafone network with
some delay.
yes the touche screan is little bit hard to push by stylas. but how come anyone can get everything in cheap price. this is the best phone for businessmen. sound quality is also good even with a single speaker.

For $130, the I-mate JAQ is a good bargain. I just got this phone yesterday and I loved it. One of the glitch that I found is that it is hard to operates on the touchscreen especially on the right hand side of the screen. This cause some problem when you need to scroll down. Other than that, this is a perfect phone. Yes, if you use Windows Vista, you could download the latest Windows Media Device software for free. The included ActiveSync software doesn't work in Windows Vista.
