Hi guys:
I'm currently having some troubles with my i-mate JASJAR. The thing is that I haven't been using it for a long time (probably more than 8 months) and now, when I plugg in the charger thebattery doesn't work or even without battery doesn't turn on.
Does anybody know what happen?

my i mate-JASJAR working on direct current no problem, when we strar with battery its not working even 15 miniutes.
do u think is this a battery problem?
battery shows in indicater almost full.

when i download photos and videos from another phone,sometimes they only display in a small portion of my screen,even if i chose to vie the videos in fullscreen mode it only displays on a small portion.how do i make it dispay in the whole screen.

when i download a clip from another phone via bluetooth, it accepts but i am never able to retrieve the file. it just vanishes.

Thanks for the nice reply. tel me one thing like flash player some websites r based on flash or java can i play online flash games on jasjar? even there is no any hscd n edge in jasjar. kindly reply can i enjoy gprs service with jasjar or not? i m using 9300 communicator which phone wil b best for me? kindly reply thanks...

You can changed your mobile setting from button setting/syste/regional/region /english uk then restart it will work in english langue

yes you can better you can do it thru bluetooth method or via cable sync. first u download programme yahoo!go 2.0 or latest .you can sync ur address book via internet then same programme u can download in jasjar and download same address book in jasjar it will be work properly

it will be better if you will load fring programme .then you can work like messanger .you can speak with everyone who is using this programme. it is very good programme.

I encourage those who have technical problems with this phone to spend time going through the http://www.xda-developers forum. That website is far more useful for solving technical problems. There you can also download ROM images for upgrading your device.

Pummy,
You should spend more time at http://www.xda-developers/forum. There you'll see lots of ROM images for HTC Universal (the generic name for devices including the i-mate JasJar). I recommend you download the latest ROM from Ranju (v7.6) which upgrades your JasJar to WM 6.1, and re-flash your device with it.

I have downloaded a ROM JASJAR_ME_13082_171_10900_wwe_ship and installed in my Imate JASJAR; Now when I start my mobile, it shows like "No GSM D 1.30.82 WWE". Now my phone has stopped working. When I try to load any ROM now it shows the error called N-N-12-12-12. It is a very stupid device. Atleast there should be som procedure for reverting back to original position. I had given soft reset and hard reset to my phone, but to no avail. My lcation is New Delhi (INDIA) and I had been using GSM services of Airtel.

stupid phone i like it only from outside,always i have problems with it always im hatting it pl if any body can assite me it has a big screen but it has a big mistakes, i will never buy i-mate if no body will assite me problem s ith the pattery and the other things,thx
