Some software strongly suggested:
**Tom Tom Navigator 5 + external BT GPS antenna
**SPB Plus (www.spbsoftwarehouse.com) improve WM5
**SPB Backup (www.spbsoftwarehouse.com) ActiveSync not enough, adopt only .CAB file (install file from SD card), it's better and easy.
**TCPMP free video player (http://tcpmp.en.softonic.com/pocketpc)
**Skype Mobile (www.skype.com)
**Google Maps Mobile (great)
**SMath Studio Handheld (math application)
**PocketCAS (math application)
**Jeyo (for SMS and Phone Backup)
**Pocket Mechanic (nice Tools)
**BT JetWare
...
Enjoy & bye,

> In reply to narath @ 2009-08-24 09:07 from TSBB - click to readOn ebay.com you can find several batteries for Jasjar. To increase the time of battery, you can switch OFF all the services you don't need: wifi, bluetooth, UMTS, backligth time, ... Another suggestion is about to use the Jasjar and answer with cover closed thanks a HandsFree BT headphone (like: HBH-DS970 stereo Bluetooth headset SonyEricson, but only handsfree (telephone), music control doesn't work if you don't upgrade WinMobile from 5.1 to last versions), in this way you don't need to switch on the display every time you receive a calling.

> In reply to JAS JAR is a rubbish @ 2008-11-23 20:13 from fvIe - click to readJasjar is born in 2005 and it was the best for some years & the first with UMTS access, wide VGA display (and wide dimension). In 2005 few phones was with GPS embedded (only HP6915 family). In 2005 FEW phones was with both Bluetooth (BT) and Wifi access too. Jasjar was one of the firsts and better. Jasjar supported hands-free and external GPS antenna by BT! You can't compare last technology with a product from 2005!!!

Try turning your wireless off when not needed. That should prolong the battery life considerably.
