4Q6t: 312Mhz minimum is required to run Skype, 400Mhz preferred. Kjam's dual-core proc won't be able to run it.

yes you can download real player if you got the right version ... plus you can record call and sounds with microphone features plus many software support i-mate devices.
for freezing screen ... no problem you can upgrade to new version or re-indtall the same version and buy more storage for application.

well i am fed up with this device. my screen freezes, my battery is flat when i turn it on and i haven't even used it, and i cant ring out, can anyone help with any of the above? the reason i got this phone was for email, pda, and had wifi etc on

Takes some getting used to but after a while its perfect - just the programs that are open that needs to be manually closed else you run out of memory but with new software release I believe that'll be sorted out. Great handset - easy to use and stylish. I will recommend it.

hiii
can anyone tell me how to access mp3 files in the memory card or phone memory for ring tone and
while i'm connected to bluetooth- if i press the phone call button, i'm not able to pick the call in the bluetooth headset, why is it.
guys from htc or imate or anyone pls answer.
these are the only problem i face

1. Anyone gotten Vonage or Packet8 (or another IP phone) running over WiFi or GPRS?
2. How well does the contact list integrate w/ the phone? Caller ID by name or picture? Dial direct to contacts?
3. Can you write WORD or PPT documents?

I have had my i-Mate K-Jam for about two weeks now. All I can say is WOW!!!! After a few sticky moments because of my stupidity, I realised that this little device is one power house. Sure, it could be a bit faster, but it handles most things with aplomb. I have a 1Gb mini-SD and I love the way it handles music, movies, games etc. As a phone it is superb. After having read MANY MANY reviews, I decided to go with it. I have not been sorry thus far. I highly recommend this device. There is a ton of software available for this device. On the down side, I do not like the MMS interfcae and I do not like the way it handles ring tones, alarms etc, but I will get over it. 9/10

sup everyone i live in the US. i know cingular has this as 8125, i just wanna ask whoever has this, how is the wi fi? did u need to change some settings on it just to browse the internet? and not just media net on it? coz the reason why i want this is because its a phone with everything i want, plus wi fi. thank u all
