I still have this device and it works great. It is very fast and zippy compared to all the new devices and the sound of the speakers is much better with this device. Wifi though on this device is not all that great. Iff this device came with a VGA screen it would have been awesome.

forgot to add, that the new album sucks, can't save all your pictures to one folder and instead it creates a new folder everytime you take pics

I have had 2 pda2k,3 hp6365,1 imate pocket pc in the last 2 years
I bought my pda2 second hand and its worked perfectly just like the older ppc, these devices are much more robust than the other types I"ve tried which is why I decided to update my ppc to pda2.
This model has the added benefit of wifi, much better widcomm bluetooth stack, much better camera, although the faster cpu hasn't made any difference in speed and the battery life is a little bit less.
I really like it.

I'm repurchasing an imate PDA 2, having tried them all, including jamin and 2k. with the processor speed at 520, im hoping this to he even faster than my Favorite of all, the original imate 2. what an awesome device, im hoping this is as good as the original.the fact i have all my music on it, plus, its a good phone, internet browser, email client, and excel viewer puts it a class above the i pod. very pleased with this device.

This device is quite quick. Only problems is call quality and reception. It takes 2-3 minutes after starting phone up to find reception. Usually have dropped calls and the reception is unstable. Every thing else works well. I rarely use the phone on this device and with that GPRS/Phone turned off I get 5-6 days before having to recharge.

Yes, this phone supports mobile skpe, check out skype.com. I just wish they'd announce there (hopefully) monthly charge that they'll implement in Dec. If they say 20-30... I'm sold.

i choosed pda2 because i needed a fast processor to get work done, and i'm really enjoying this feature, with this fast processor u can make work as easy as on ur pc.
however i felt normal windows problems like in the pc, program craches, freezes, and a little bit of a battery problem.
however all of these problems are okay when it works well and make u enjoy it.
overall, this pda is great, but don't expect it to be perfect :-)

to put it simple, pda2 is the pda for you if your looking for faster performance, more space and for someone who sits 24/7 in the house because what i know is that the faster the processor the faster it drains power outta the battery, they have to do something about this, coz im sick of carrying my charger everywhere i go, i leave for charge over night and the next day i wake up listen to a music for 10 minutes and it indicates the battery life from 100percent to 85percent, damn more processing speed less battery life.

i have had this device for about a month after considerable research, and having used and discarded( currently trying to ebay )an i-mate jasjar, i-mate jam 128mb version, ipaq 6515, verizon 6600.

for me as a doctor my needs are a stable os (wm 5.0 is very UNSTABLE), plenty of on board ram to load 3rd party software, decent camera, wifi, good screen, speakerphone, regular sd slot, relatively small and lightweight......and at this point i went back to wm 2003 se because of the aforementioned, and it has delivered in excellent fashion.

until a form factor such as the jasjar comes out with a verifiable stable os , i hope to keep this solid, reliable pda-phone.

its crap, plain & simple. why? 'cause it has a higher pocessor & higher RAM than PDA2K, but the op sys is 2003 ! Also, wi-fi is not as good as PDA2K. it hangs up pretty much often, esp after games. take my advice - go for something much smarter like DUPOD or something for less than half he price. HP / Treo is also better.

Hello everybody, I have a PDA2 device and I'm satisfied. the only problem I faced was that the screen stopped responding and I could not tap on the screen. a local technician could solve the problem in 5 minutes but never told me how he could do that. the same problem happened a week later and everyone told me that the device must be sent to service center, but again the technician could solve the problem. I believe he must do sth with bottoms and softwares. can anybody advise how the problem is solved? Regards, Pouria
