I have just purchased PDA2 and I really like it. However, there was an icon at the bottom right corner to change screen orientation which has now disappeared. Can someone please tell me how to restore it back. Thanks

I think that this PDA is infact nice for people who are always on the move and need to stay connected.
However, the battery life is very short if you work on WLAN etc due to bigger screen etc.
Overall, above expectations.

I have the HP 6315 with Windows Mobile 2003. I like the phone / features, but am disappointed with the phone reception. My wife's Samsung phone will get reception in places where my phone will not. How is the i-Mate PDA2 phone's phone reception?

It is my understanding (through scanning the pocket pc sites) the i-mate is much more stable due to their ROM. Hope this helps.

Well, I don't have a PDA2, but I do have an XDA2i and it's the worst phone i've ever owned. Freezing/crashing with frustrating regularity... awful reception and the buttons on the side are annoyingly easy to press when moving the device.

The ringtones aren't very loud, and the SMS alert is pathetic. So much so you're either checking it every five minutes, or you miss loads of messages.

The PDA functionality is superb though, but I think i'd rather have two seperate devices than this monster.

In summary, an awful phone but a great PDA. Only buy it if you truly need it, as the novelty soon wears off.

XDA IIi is From O2 and PDA2 is from Imate. The only difference is the design of the skin and XDA IIi has 96MB ROM and PDA2 has 128 MB ROM .Else both devices have same specs. If any one buying a new PDA i would suggest he suold buy PDA2 from i-mate

iMate PDA phones are really good for those who need a Moble phone & a PC in One, the PDA2 having really fastest processor of the world with a most beautiful design. I suggest for the Businessmens & Company Executives should go for this model.

I'm thinking of buying a PDA phone but extremely getting a hard time comparing the XDAIIi or the I-Mate PDA2. Are they the same function? Can anyone give an idea of what to get.

Thanks

Kindly All note that All versions of i-mate pda2 have 128mb ROM.That was a typo error by I-mate on their website which they have corrected now.

I think any one who is thinking to buy a brand new pda should preffer this over PDA2K.bec

1-it has 1.3 mega pixel camera
2-Faster Processor
3-Its weight is 190g and PDA2K is 210g.
4-It uses the same accessories as Pocket pc .

Why is it the that the Asian Version has 128mb of ROM and this one only claims to have 64? People say it is an error.. Bottom line an an error or did they actually produce a new model for the middle-east with less ROm and 64 MB of less ROM! In Asia they come with 128MB of RAM and 128MB of ROM.. What is the deal here? SKYPE is also ot included in this new version here in the Middle-East as well. Why update if they don't upgrade?

I think this is hte best Pocket PC ever created! This phone also has wifi which the i-mate JAM didn't have. Plus the 1.3 MP Camera is amazing, Bluethooth, etc. are amazing!!!
Everyone who is looking for a Pocket PC I say that this is a must-have for them.
