Heelo there I picked up one of these second hand and have had real problems with the battery, it works great with a new battery, but has it drops power Im unable to charge it back up! what am I doing wrong Im using a retractable pc sync/charger the phone says its charging but does'nt seem to be?
hope someone can help as I really like the phone, cheers

for better for performance have it repaired by qualified technician better to go to dealer...I love my I-mate

Its an amazine phone. Have had it for 2.5 years now, and cant do without it. the phones body is all battered and bruised now, with wear and tear. I can't find another phone to replace it, as nothing else has such a huge touch screen. I did away with the stylus ages ago and just use my fingers on the screen. never used a screen protector or carried the phone in a case ( always in my hand or pocket), and the screen only has a tiny scratch. Some of the downsides are: Buttons may stop working, but you can still work most things through the screen. Also it sometimes hangs or restarts, and u may loose some data. i wonder if one can upgrade the software to windowsmobile6. If u find another phone with a similar sized screen, pls lemme know.

This is a good phone but there's a price you have to pay... batt, and other accessories are very expensive... so if you stumble into this situation where you have to replace something, its a pain... know what im sayin... but the reward is, LOADS of really, really cool apps is avail on forums for FREE! You can even hide you're mistress's text messages and scandal pix from your gf, wife. Smashing! Fantastic!...........
do u know how to set this things up thanks...im using XDA II's thanks in advance...

had this phone for two good years but was always unhappy with the bluetooth handsfree. I could never get a patch for it even in the imateclub website

I am happy with my I-mate Pda2k I'm internet guy love to surf the net, recently I tried to use my phone as modem and it gives me a maximum speed of 115kbps in 3G HSDPA invironment . Its faster than a normal dial connection but I cant maximize my network 3G speed. Can ANYONE SUGGEST HOW CAN I UPGRADE OR TWEAK this baby to enhance the MODEM speed. Thanks all!!!

i used more than 5 different PDAs from various company....i must say..this was my BEST buy EVER...i still love eventhough i have newer ones.

i have just received my imate-pda2k from my company,i stay in malawi-central africa,
the problem with my phone is that the calls are not outgoing, but i can send sms messages and incomeing call can be received, all other functions are ok, it is a nice phone but too much bulky
can any one help me how to sort this problem
please email me if possible.

Actually im satified with the performance of my i-mate pda2k but lately i dicovered that i can used it as wireless modem if i connect it to my laptop by disabling the activesync. I tried it but i doesnt work. I was told to install the cd accopanied in the box of my pda but i lost it. Where can i download that cd? thany need help.
