i have just received my imate-pda2k from my company,i stay in malawi-central africa,
the problem with my phone is that the calls are not outgoing, but i can send sms messages and incomeing call can be received, all other functions are ok, it is a nice phone but too much bulky
can any one help me how to sort this problem
please email me if possible.

Actually im satified with the performance of my i-mate pda2k but lately i dicovered that i can used it as wireless modem if i connect it to my laptop by disabling the activesync. I tried it but i doesnt work. I was told to install the cd accopanied in the box of my pda but i lost it. Where can i download that cd? thany need help.

I have this i-mate PDA2k but I have lost my data cable. And its data cable is unavailable in BANGLADESH. Can I install new softwares in it by using BLUETOOTH or MMC/SD CARD from another computer? Please help me by giving good advice.

Since I start using my new PDA2K, while listening audio clips, the sound is too low. Camera clarity is worse that any other mobile phone. Anybody has a solution to have good sound for audio and clarity?

Please Help, im in a lot of trouble with the I-Mate PDA2K. I got my I-Mate PDA2K as a gift from my uncle,who bought it from Abu Dhabi. for the first 2months it was working fine. Now all of a sudden there seems to be a lot of problem. it resets itself suddenly when i try to answer any incomming call. all the setup right from the initial screen alignment will take place and lot of setup screens come before i can start using it again. after a few calls it resets again and the whole procedure repeats again. This is causing a lot of inconvenience as the frequency of resetting is very very unpredictable. I tried to reset it sometimes myself so that it would stor resetting itself, but that dosnt help.please help if someone had similar problem. and i dont have the OS drivers or other driver software CD's with me. but have the USB cradle with me which i am using just for charging the device at office.

hey wassim you hav read the wrong thing. pls check that you will hav a drop down button in the memory card tab... settings>> memory>> storage card.. now here select "storage card" and not "storage"...
this PDA comes with an internal memcard of 43.5 MB!!!!! thats really gr8 128+43.5

I've been using iMate-PDA2K for almost a year and I am quites satisfied thought it has a huge size. During my use, I had just a single problem. Some times after receiving call the OK (close) button in the top right of the screen is not displayed. The Phone application keeps running and I even can not use the phone. What I have to do is; remove the battary and restart the phone ... I'll appriciate, if any one has solution to this problem. My EMail address is mentioned above ...

I bought a PDA 2k, when I insert AIRTEL 32K sim it shows invalid sim but when I use my friends AIRTEL 32K sim it works fine,does anyone have a solution for this,if so the please do mail bk at salma2_5@yahoo.co.in,

i am using this set from 2 years i had no problem but now i am facing a problem. can any one solve it then replay me at muhammd_adeel123@yahoo.com
when i recieve a call it doesnt pick it u even when battery is 90%.
can anyone help, is it the problem of old battery.
from where we can arrange its new battery. is chinees battery reliable

OK as PDA. Worst mobile I ever had. Bluetooth radio switches off at random, even after patch loaded...

Could anybody tell me how to sync a PDA2K with a Vista PC. I downloaded Windows mobile centre from microsoft site but does not help!

hey imate pda2k is a ok sorta mobile... the functionalities are ok.. but lotsa problems with it... especiall when the battery level goes below a certain %.. u wont be able t pik calls.. hangs pretty freq.... and i am not able to switch on th speaker fone while on a call.. any1 knows how to do that?
