this phone is a Waste of money, bought a brand new one 5 months ago, but now the touchscreen has stopped working so i cannot access the phone at all!

I-Mate PDAL is a great phone. I have been using this pocket pc for the last 1 month and till now I got no complains. There are lots of people complaining problems with this phone but
with little troubleshooting know how this cell doesn't give you a chance to frown.

this is to inform you that me facing a lot of problem usning imate pdl , its have lot of problem of hanging from 1 date when i purchase it, now when it got 4 month older a new problem in it and and a mojor one too, now the voice of caller is very poor, and after 1 min call it bcomes impossible to liten anyhitng from second party. i make so manyy calls to your service center and there is one who can attend this problem. due to this i am not able to use my cell. I bought that pdl as i think that imate is much better then nokia or samsung etc.... but now i have to regretly say that me totaly wrong at that time.
so now its upto you how you are able to solve my problem although i have genuine bill and cell is also still in warranty period as its only 4 month older.
so you once again requested kindly look into the matter & do the needful. your immediate action will be highly appreciated int his regard

I am using pdal during 1 month,it is great.but last two days I could not make photo.I dnt know what happened.I installed some programs in this phone last week.After that I could not make phone with this phone.If anybody have an idea about this please dnt hesitate to reply.

I have been using the phone for about 6 months now. It is slow at times. Network is the greatest and multimedia can be better. I use lotus notes and I have not been able to sync my calendar to the phone. Can someone please help? my email id is hemanth.b@ey.com

Hi, i have bough this mobile in Aug-2007,
Good Phone but missing lots of good feature.
-Camara - Bad
-Sound Qaulity- very very Bad
-Hangs after every 5 hour
-Misinglots of features.
- No customer care in india.
-Rate- very high & quality is poor.
Request you to please think twice before buying this mobile.
Now its your decision.

I like this model, but can somebody tell me how I connect to Internet I Installed Actice synch but what settings required for connection specaillay in LAN environment where I have no ISP number.
One thing more Active Sync not connected to the PC even I have selected USB from the options.

Hi I have imate PDAL model...internet browsing was working fine with Hutch but now I have changed to BSNL prepaid connection and now I am having problem with setting of the internet....can any one help me in this regards.....pls reply on mohanmickey@gmail.com.....Mohan

I buy I-mate in computer discount shop in italy for 229 euro.
This is my first pda. I use this to connect internet with my wifi home network. I use opera mobile that render the pages like the desktop browser, more fast than Internet Explorer.
It's a good Pda, but it has a slow microprocessor, and it's not 3g Umts, or Hdspa.
But for a simple use with no asking miracles to this it's good.
The sound it's not optimal, i have a cellphone with more audio quality.
A good pda, but if you want better see other models. Support it's terrible the site clubmate.com don't recognize me, but i'm correctly registered.
It's a good idea buy an hp or other brands, because they hawe a better support.

Bloody i-mate PDAL, this dame model has umpteen problems, honestly it hasn’t gone through very basic lab test although has fabulous attraction over other models, what a big fun.
- Noisy, hard to listen. po.pe..pa.pr..
- Speaker hardly audible at max volume
- SMS stops coming in all of sudden
- Does not recognize all SIMs at UK.
- IMEA out of range, no useful error report,
- Imate-configurator supported only in I-mate device, works after reboot
- ActiveSync, sucks … changes what not..
- Blue-screen…the symbol of Microsoft, weeps often
- Horrible service in India
- plus many more
But good it could serve as very basic phone, just dial, try not to do anything else….
