I just got my imate smartflip and I can recieve sms messages but I can't send them - an error message comes up which says "cannot send sms". I've gone through all the phone settings and have searched online for a solution but can't find one. If anyone has an answer and can help me I'd really really appreciate it!!!!!! Thanks!!!

Imate SMARTFLIP is a nice sleek Smartphone. The looks are good. Everything else is not IMPRESSIVE at all. Software freezes alot. Poor sound quality in phone calls. Incompatibility problems with almost all Nokia phones. Battery life is ok, in comparison with the Previous Imates.

Sleek phone. Ideal for users of Outlook - the synchro is next to perfect. Cannot substitute a Palm or a Pocket PC, though. Word/ Excel / PDF documents can be read, but not edited. Looks and finish are perfect. The ribbed casing prevents smudges and keeps it looking good. Minor software bugs, but can be updated online. I would give it 10/10 for design and features, as long as you are not looking for a fully featured handheld device.

My Smartflip has failed to NOT impress me. I bought it, went online, downloaded updated software and VOILA!!!
I have been doing everything that I used to enjoy doing with my JASJAR. All information, documents and presentations in the palm of my hand. Much to the dismay of my colleagues who have all opted to buy the larger and faster models. I get the job done with much greater ease and mobility.
My advice to all new users is to visit the I-Mate site, download the updated OS software and install it on your fone. Then do the reset and you will find the tweaked updates working its machine very sweetly.
I am enjoying this model to the MAX!!!

to Copy, HTC produces this hp and sells it to Qtek, I-jam, O2, Dopod....etc. Then it is named to whatever they like it n then released it under their name-brand.
