I need someone to help me with my tasks on this phone - have you used the task feature? If you have, have you managed to get it to sort the tasks into dates instead of alphabetically? Would love to find someone who can help me with this...

this phone is really nice considering the price. pros: plays divx, xvid, wmv, mp3, wma view (not write) all kinds of office files, pdf, SMALL yet powerfull, get/make a 3.5mm headphone adapter(!) and use koss porta pro headphones. cons: camera quality is not uptodate (640x480 is not good, we want megapixels), windows ce pocket pc version IS way better. conclusion: if you want small phone, get this, but consider the i-mate jam/qtek s100 before you buy.. costs a little more, but i would buy s100 instead of this today :-)

just passing the 6 month mark and the fone is still first class, the orange spv c500 will take a 1gb card as one was designed for it a few months back and stated for use on c500 but would not swear to this .Your better asking around to see if someone is using one.im using a 256mb which is what i usually get for my fones ie gx30 .I better state that bits of paint hav come off the 5 way joystick and it can hang if your to fast with it.

Wow slow down with criticising this phone. i have the SPV version and there is nothing (nothing you wold expect from a piece of technology) i can not do with it. All the applications are out there (visit Modaco.com), there's the firmware lock that can be removed(legally,Orange application) and a new ROM (Orange at least) that comes with WMP10 that HAS mp3 as ringtones. It's superbly compatible with any brand(Microsoft or Symbian, or any BT technology) this is a phone you never get tired of. At this price i give it an A++. It is amasing!

Can someone clarify the difference between the sp3 and the sp3i. Other than physical design there does not seem to be a difference in specs.

Ok...help with ringtones is here....you guys owe me bigtime:
download music in wma or wav format.
save it on your imate ..storage/application data/sounds.
I tested this and it works, but your storage capacity is very small,, so go easy on the file size. when you go back to sounds and settings you will see your song listed with the other awful songs that are built in to your I-Mate.
