can any one tell me wether i mate sp3 supports mp3/wav tones for sms alerts and wether we can zoom pictures in sp3...
also please tell me where to download free softwares for the phone....it wud be of gr8 help....
also can we change the panel of the phone???

Hello ppl as for no sound i think ur phone has some fault there...since u formatted n there has been nothing i suspect that it is a hardware fault...mayb u dropped the phone sometime ago.
As for IMEI number i cannot supply with one as every phone has its own unique IMEI number.. since my frend has bought the phone from orange i dont think it will be recognised by orange..... but im willing to send u the software...only problem is its 23 MB n it cant be sent by email... if u got any ideas on how i can send it lemme know n ill b glad to help

my precious SP3 does not sound when i receive a call, neither when i put on speaker and i can't hear the file that i record but it works with vibator only.i can hear and speak to people only if i come to fill the vibration. i went to accessories then to clear storage and i put the numbers 1234 and i formated the phone to bring it to its original settings. noway the same problem persists. is it a software problem? if yes, how should i format my SP3? or is it a hardware problem???!!! please help.

hi , i have purchased imate sp3 , its a great phone to have .sound is good with head phones , i have updated it with new windows from club imate site .it has media player 10. but very deficult to configure gprs.
any how best phone yet , with compare to nokia n80, sonyerricson k810i ,

I need a favor from Jack. I need an IMEI which is valid, because I have an Orange SPV C500 which is the same as an SP3, but my IMEI is not good, that's what they told me on www.clubimate.com when I wanted to register my phone.

This was posted before and i would like to emphasize on it. Pls upgrade your i-mate sp3 from the imate website and u will have the following new features:
MP3 ringtones
Windows Media Player 10 for Smartphone
Call audio quality is improved
Speakerphone function is now included in the menu for each call
and much much more

Have had mine for just over a year. Overall a good phone, but it was a bit flakey and prone to hanging until a software upgrade. Like the Outlook Sync, far easier than the Nokia and Sony Ericssons I have used beofre. I little slack on engineering (main navigation button has been know to stick. Has been dropped plenty, and still seems to function tho.
I would recommend.

Imate SP3 does not have "Group SMS" (Multiple SMS) Sending options. Can any one suggest an add-on program than can 1) Add Groups and 2) Send SMS to the defined Group in one click! Please suggest me

The SP3 'Windows Default' Home Screen's TOP MENU changes everytime to last opened applications.
But I want a STATIC Top Menu (Message, Winows Media, Games, File Manager, Calender, Calculator) on my Home Screen TOP. I should add/edit/delete/order the Static Top Menu program.
Please inform any application related to this issue.

Here is the answer for those who are interested to know Imate SP3's Battery Life.
I played Songs in Windows Media Player non-stop for 2.15hrs with headset and 90% volume...The SP3 consumed 13% of battery.
I talked non-stop for 2hrs...The SP3 Consumed about 37% of battery.
Conclusion: Battery life is very good!!!
Nokia’s equivalent models (6680, 6681) come with 900 mAh battery Vs Imate SP3 has 1050 mAh battery. Imate SP3’s battery is very powerful than Nokia, in terms of specification and in performance aswell.
Iam using Imate SP3 for last 3 months.

This is regarding many people that have asked about HANDSFREE.
To some of ur surprises the phone has a handsfree. during a call press and hold the call(green) button and there u go.
Should work!
Would any1 happen to know how to send files via bluetooth and get some fancy ringtones??
