HTC S710 Specification is:
64 MB RAM, 128 MB ROM
TI OMAP 850, 200 Mhz processor
Imate SP5m Specification is:
64 MB RAM, 64 MB ROM
TI OMAP 850, 200 Mhz processor
HTC S710 & Imate SP5m has same 200 mhz processor & 64 mb RAM, but ROM is different.
What defines operation speed of mobile RAM or ROM or Processor?

this is the worst phone I ever bought, where is the I-mate we once knew?
You cannot search by name,etc.. the key are worse than an old typing machine.

Got this phone about 5 months back after searching out for a good phone for about 2 months !!
For me the SP5M was well worth the wait - ROM's are available, so is a ton of software.
What really surprised me is the rugged stability of this piece ( a friend of mine dropped it :O ) still no harm done - which semi high end phone can do that ???
Technically - No problems in Sound / Network Detection / Bluetooth - Wifi is a bit weak though.
Only thing i was hoping for is increase in Program Memory - after loading up with softwares you get 4-5 MB's memory free - would have been a much much better phone if it had 128 mb RAM ... just a thought
The 200 MHz processor handles multi-tasking pretty efficiently - only gets a bit cocky when phone is activesynced.

When connect or charging my mobile. automatically mobile will be turnoff. How should i make setting for not to turn off mobile when charging. and the time will be changed automatically (didn't give current time.). Please help me

To use mp3 ringtones copy the ringtone to My Documents folder in Storage Card and it will show in the ringtones list. To increase mp3 ringtone volume registry editing is needed. Please go to www.modaco.com and search. This fone is awesome just trying to figure out how to use skype on it.

finaly the joy stick of my phone gone out of order with in 6 months and i gave to a mobile repair shop and he opens and did something wrong and and asking me PKR.4500/- for repairing and i said him to keep the mobile to you thanks .
So i would suggest the guys who do a lot of sms and play games dont buy this mobile for its joy stick
