I am having problems sending and recieving items via bluetooth, the phone just says sending cancelld... if anyone has any methods to resolve this problem please email me... much appreciated.

i m too having lots of difficulties with this phone sp jas
its battery life is so poor
its camera pics also not so good
and and and its a very very dellicate phone
and its operations are very difficult to operate

yes it is possible to send files via blutooth , i tried a lot and reached my goal of sending files via blutooth
to send via blutooth u need to first on ur infrared or beam and then just on ur blutooth and send as many as u want files

to set ring tone or mp3 tone as ur tone just copy it from ur sd card and just paste it in my documents folder and goto setting there it ll show dat ring tone
and to use net u need to set connections setting to usb and then just plug the usb to ur cp and just on the net on ur pc then it ll automatically on net in ur mobile remember u should ve installed the synch soft in ur pc

friend if u want to formate ur i-mate just go to accesories and in that goto clear downloads
it ll ask u to enter 1234 and press ok
ur mobile will be formate and it comes its factorial setting and remember all ur conatacts and ur my documents will b lost

Looks neat and handy; over all features are great but what i hate most why it doesn't have W Lan. Oh for the contacts search...just use T9 typing in search

I just got the SPJAS and frankly basic simple things are not of any close access; like searching the contacts: i have to go through all my contacts i.e. under one letter to select the desired one...this is a draw back; guess need more time to get use to it since iam a long time user of pocket PCs.

I have a sp JAS. First impressions was good untill starting to use the phone. Phone freezed up dropped calls or distort voice.
After a lot of frustation got a frimware upgrade at IMATE. Then most of the problems stopped but I do still have now and then a problem but its more bareble.

Great features but terrible reception.Drops calls all the time.I don't know if this is a South Africa only problem or an inherrant problem with the phone worldwide.It is a shame because I really enjoy the phones' build and usefulness.Come on Imate sort out the antenna please.

i was initially impressed with the phone, but after using this phone for five months i have found the following:
1. the reception is poor
2. the battery lifespan when using internet etc is very short
3. that the phone does not have an easy keypad lock
4. the screen freezes often, and the phone has to be shut off and restarted
5. i have now just encounterd yet another problem, i often dont hear incoming calls and the phone will not operate if it is not on speaker mode... you cant hear anything
is there anyone else experiencing this kinda problem or is this just a faulty handset...

No phone redial option
Short battery life mixed use less than 4 hours
Software problems in South Africa.Importers have no clue of what phone has what software version loaded.
To get 3 G working a nightmare
Signal quality poor
Email reception works well
Active sync needs re-installation on Pc if new rom is loaded
Reading display in sunlight almost impossible
